About the role…
ALP, an innovative firm specializing in logistic property development, is seeking Automation Maintenance Engineers to oversee the efficient operations of our upcoming Smart Logistic Warehouse near Bukit Raja, Selangor. This pivotal role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including setup field maintenance performance targets (efficiency & cost) and execution plans for maintenance teams.
The Automation Maintenance Engineer will collaborate closely with internal teams, including solution planning, property management, and IT, to optimize automation performance and ensure integration of state-of-the-art technology. Externally, the role involves coordination with key stakeholders such as equipment suppliers, and tenants.
This position offers the opportunity for potential career development as ALP's presence grows in Malaysia and a rare opportunity to manage a Multitenant Automated Smart Warehouse.
What you will do…
- Coordinate and manage subcontracted maintenance operation teams
- Implement the automatic equipment and drive extensive tests
- Regular automatic equipment troubleshooting and recovery
- Regular automatic equipment maintenance
- Efficiency improvement of automatic equipment
- Source spare parts and manage external vendors
- Maintenance contract management
- PoC validation support
- User autonomous maintenance training

What skills are required…
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Control, Automation, or engineering-related dept.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, sensing and pneumatic/hydraulic parts, and motor control.
- Experience in PLC & HMI design and implementation is a plus.
- Familiar with AutoCad / Solidworks is a plus.
- SCADA and backend IT system integration is a plus.
- Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia. Strong Mandarin oral & written communication skills will be an advantage.
- Fresh graduates are welcome.
