Job Description
· We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented MP Materials Planner to manage end-to-end material planning, procurement, and supply chain operations supporting the delivery of compute, storage, and AI rack solutions.
· This role is critical in ensuring timely material availability, optimizing supply chain processes, and collaborating with internal stakeholders, ODM partners, and suppliers to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
· Materials Procurement & Logistics Coordinate with ODMs, vendors, and internal stakeholders to manage procurement, logistics, and readiness of the complete Bill of Materials (BOM), including L6, L10, and L11 materials.
· Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) to ODMs as required.
· Ensure timely delivery of materials to support manufacturing and deployment schedules.
· Materials Planning & MRP Management Collaborate with ODMs and supply-demand planning teams to maintain accurate component and subcomponent supply information.
· Execute MRP activities and ensure compliance with forecasts, purchase orders, and material requirements.
· Drive component readiness to achieve Clear To Build (CTB) status across programs.
· Monitor supply commitments and ensure on-time delivery against forecasts and business requirements.
· Risk Management & Supply Continuity Identify and proactively manage material shortages, supply risks, and potential disruptions.
· Work closely with commodity suppliers and client-managed vendors to mitigate supply chain risks and ensure continuity.
· Support supplier execution and escalation management to maintain delivery performance.
· Supplier & Partner Management Develop strong working relationships with ODMs, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
· Manage supplier manufacturing schedules, production capacity, and delivery commitments.
· Facilitate effective communication across teams located in different regions and time zones.
· Data Analysis & Reporting Analyze supply, demand, inventory, and MRP reports to support strategic material planning decisions.
· Track and report KPIs related to material availability, PO coverage, inventory, and supply chain performance.
· Partner with inventory teams to optimize stock levels at ODM and third-party logistics (3PL) locations.
· Material Allocation Support Collaborate with internal and external teams to support material allocation strategies that maximize rack production and delivery to customers.
Required Qualifications
· Experience in procurement, operations, supply chain, or material planning, preferably within the technology or hardware industry.
· Strong understanding of MRP, demand planning, procurement, and inventory management.
· Ability to analyze complex datasets and provide actionable business insights.
· Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across global teams.
· Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in computer hardware manufacturing, production, or system configuration.
· Understanding of hardware components, manufacturing terminology, and supply chain processes within the technology industry.
· Experience working with ODMs, suppliers, and cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
· Ability to make independent decisions and manage priorities in dynamic business environments.
