Resident Engineer C&S

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Resident Engineer in supervising and coordinating daily construction activities to ensure project progress and quality.
• Inspect and supervise contractors’ works and tests against approved drawings and specifications to ensure compliance.
• Enforce adherence to specifications, national regulations, local authorities’ requirements, Singapore standards, and industry best practices.
• Attend site meetings to identify and resolve technical issues collaboratively with contractors and stakeholders.
• Review contractors’ submissions, provide detailed comments, and ensure timely closure of all outstanding issues.
• Oversee inspection and special testing processes, coordinating efforts across all contracts to maintain quality control.
• Ensure all inspection documentation complies fully with local authorities’ requirements to support regulatory approvals.

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Registration as Resident Engineer with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in large infrastructure or waste/water management construction projects.
• Experience with foundation piles, earth retaining or stabilizing structures, instrumentation and monitoring, ground improvement, and soil investigation works.

Other Information

• 5.5 working days per week.
• 1-year renewable contract.
• Position available for immediate commencement.
• 2 months gratuity upon completion of 2 years.
• Work location: Tuas.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm; Saturday 8:30 am to 12:30 pm (alternate Saturdays).

Summary:

Job Duties:

2. Assist in creating, formatting, and proofread documents, including letters, reports, memos, and presentations to ensure accuracy and professionalism in all written materials.
3. Transcript of voice recording of meetings / phone conferences.
4. Draft, review & comments emails / agreements / documents for Executive director’s consideration.
5. Comfortable to identifying and evaluating legal and compliance risks within the company and the group.
6. Monitor and report on regulatory changes and developments.
7. Record and monitor deadlines, update status and tracking internal database / reports of relevant tasks / project assigned.
8. Administer and maintain databases / files; renaming, reorganizing, and maintaining files, folders, documents, and internal database (spearhead converting largely to digitally).
9. Assist in office management.
10. Carry out other ad-hoc tasks / projects assigned by Executive Director

Position title: Conveyancing Secretary (Senior) 

Working Days: 5 days

Starting Salary: $3,500 - $4000

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
 
1.    Conveyancing Matters:

• Handle a full range of conveyancing matters, including purchase and sale transactions, development projects, mortgages, transfers, refinance, redemption and leases.
• Prepare legal conveyancing documentation and manage e-lodgment and e-stamping processes.
• Review and proofread documents related to conveyancing.

 
2. Client Communication:

• With clients, banks, and other relevant parties throughout the conveyancing process.
• Provide updates, answer queries, and address any concerns promptly.

 
3. Administrative Support:

• Assist in secretarial work, including conducting searches, billing and maintaining deadlines.
• Manage client appointments and maintain proper records of files.
• Liaise with Banks, CPF Board, Solicitors, and Clients on conveyancing matters.
   

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: A diploma or degree in legal studies or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a conveyancing secretary in a law firm. Familiarity with e-litigation processes is advantageous.
• Skills: Proficient in legal conveyancing documentation.
