WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Handle the design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications using Angular 13 for front-end and C# .NET Core 6 for back-end

Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of a cross-platform mobile and web application for cognitive health monitoring and support.

Working within a highly multidisciplinary team across the Singapore-ETH Centre (SEC), NUS, and NTU, the Software Engineer will collaborate closely with researchers, designers, and clinicians to translate research prototypes into reliable and scalable software systems.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining mobile applications for iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin), as well as contributing to the web-based frontend (ReactJS) and backend services (NodeJS). Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop efficient software applications and systems that meet user requirements
• Support software enhancements, upgrades, and system configurations
• Write clean, well-structured, and testable code in line with Software Quality Assurance standards

Requirements:

• BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related areas
• Min 3-5 Years of similar field experience
• Proficiency in C# and/or JS programming languages.
• Proficiency in ASP.NET, .NET Framework, .NET Core, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS, NextJS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.

Responsibility

1. Responsible for the development, porting, optimization, and maintenance of firmware for Linux embedded systems, as well as the development of driver programs for peripheral modules.

2. Responsible for chip testing and driver development, as well as chip debugging and testing tasks.

3. Responsible for the development of software control algorithms related to power management.

Requirement

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in related fields including but not limited to Communications, Electronics, Computer Science, Automation, Mathematics, or Physics.

2. Clear logical thinking ability, strong learning capability, proactive attitude, and a sense of responsibility.

3. Familiar with Linux systems, with a foundational understanding of embedded software design and development, and strong C or C++ programming and debugging skills.

4. Understanding of embedded microprocessor principles, ability to read data sheets, and a background in hardware knowledge is preferred.

5. Familiar with common data structures and the ability to analyze and design algorithms.
