Overview:

The Network Engineer is responsible for analysing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and

repairing of network infrastructure and application components. The incumbent performs a wide

variety of evaluation, maintenance, installation and training tasks to ensure the computer network

performance meets the satisfaction of the Company and users. The incumbent also provides

direction, information and recommendations on network configurations and installations.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage, administer, configure, and provide technical support for network equipment (switches, wireless APs, firewalls, DNS appliances, UPS) and services, including VLANs, ACLs, firewall rules, DNS, and IP address management.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade network hardware firmware/software; apply patches, hotfixes, and manage vulnerability remediation.
• Take ownership of network problems, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and firmware, performing on-site support as needed.
• Conduct daily system checks, monitor network services availability, and contribute to network health checks by analyzing alerts, statistics, and performance data.
• Manage and document all network device configurations, changes, and ensure weekly automated backups.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to architectural decisions that drive innovation and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and robust applications.
• Lead complex software development projects from requirements to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and DevOps.
• Review code, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design discussions.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize application performance.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.

• Proficiency in primary programming languages, e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript].
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and data structures.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
