• Bachelor’s degree in IT or any related discipline
• Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP)
• Hands-on experience as an Avaloq Developer in implementation or post-go-live support phases
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a defect-fixing context
• Solid experience with:Avaloq ScriptTask definitions and task executionScreen reports, print reports, and datamartsOracle database (SQL, understanding of Avaloq data model)
• Debugging and problem-solving skills within complex Avaloq customisations
• Experience working in environments with existing, non-greenfield codebases

Desirable / Nice-to-Have

Familiarity with Equities, Bonds, Managed Funds, Structured Products, Money Market, Fiduciary lifecycle

• Exposure to Avaloq interfaces (e.g. file-based, messaging, APIs)
• Familiarity with release management and controlled deployment processes

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse, diagnose, and resolve functional and technical defects in an existing Avaloq landscape
• Perform root-cause analysis across Avaloq Script, tasks, reports, interfaces, and database objects
• Design, implement, and unit test fixes in alignment with Avaloq standards and project development guidelines
• Support defect resolution activities across DEV, SIT, UAT, and Production environments
• Work with business analysts and testers to clarify defect scope, reproduce issues, and validate fixes
• Ensure fixes are robust, compliant with Avaloq best practices, and do not introduce regressions
• Support release activities including code packaging, deployment support, and post-deployment verification
• Maintain and contribute to technical documentation related to fixes, known issues, and workarounds
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement within existing code, configurations, and technical design

Requirement:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Extensive hands-on experience as an Avaloq Developer in implementation and/or post-go-live support environments
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a defect-resolution context
• Solid hands-on experience with: Avaloq Script, Task definitions and task execution frameworks, Screen reports, print reports, and datamarts, Oracle Database, including advanced SQL skills and a good understanding of the Avaloq data model
• Well-developed debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills within complex Avaloq customisations
• Experience working within existing, non-greenfield Avaloq landscapes
• Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) certification is good to have.
