Responsibilities

• You’ll be a critical member of the team responsible for designing, implementing and supporting networking capabilities within high-assurance, secure and highly-available environments.  Your role as a senior network engineer will mean you are responsible for the outcomes the team delivers as well as ensuring other team members grow and learn to deliver better outcomes themselves.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and at least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and providing operational support to complex networking environments.
• Strong knowledge and experience deploying/configuring and maintaining Network environments (both in physical platforms and Azure) including: L2/L3 Routing (BGP) & Switching, Firewalls (NAT & ACLs), IPSEC VPN.
• Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or any other equivalent Cloud Certification

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engineering, deployment, and support services for system and network infrastructure across security-focused projects ranging from small-scale implementations to large enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with solution architects to develop and execute optimal system and network designs in both physical and virtualized infrastructures.
• Serve as the technical escalation point and subject matter expert for system security, network architecture, implementation, and operational issues.
• Lead the deployment of new network and system solutions in partnership with project managers, while engaging and coordinating with customers, telecommunications providers, and technology partners.
• Conduct system and network hardening activities, validate security configurations, and maintain accurate baseline configuration and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering/Information System/Information Security from a recognized institution with 5 or more years of relevant working experience
• Strong experience in Windows, Linux and Vmware/HyperV systems
• Strong experience in Next-Gen Firewalls, VPN, switching/routing, load balancers and proxies
• Experience in windows server domain environment such as active directory, group policies, DNS/DHCP and SCCM etc.
• Hands-on experience in system and network security-related tasks such as hardening, patching, capacity planning and design
• In-depth knowledge in network and systems security

Position Summary

We are seeking an Application Engineer with a diploma in engineering or other relevant work experience to support our regional strategic accounts team. The role includes working together with our diverse sales teams to interpret customer requirements, deliver solutions and manage customer expectations with the end goal of sales in mind. You will be expected to work as a consultant to the sales teams and clients to tailor project specific solutions and will be the first point of contact. Training will be provided hands on, and regular travel and customer meetings can be expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical point of contact for key consultants and accounts.

• Act as a liaison between sales teams and factory capabilities.

• Develop technical selections, feasibility studies, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses.

• Support sales with accurate project costing and compliance documentation.

• Prepare deviation and exception statements for project proposals.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Technical / Aftersales, Support Engineers, Commissioning Engineers, Key Account Managers, Consultants and Contractors to support application development and delivery.

• Participate in KAM / Technical team meetings and activities to understand requirements and share progress updates

• Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders to gather feedback, clarify technical issues, and ensure alignment with project goals

• Support the implementation of user feedback to improve application functionality and user experience

• Maintain a proactive and responsive approach to stakeholder needs, contributing to a positive and productive team environment

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong communication skills

Education / Experience

Software Validation Engineer

Software Design & Development

• Design and develop machine control and process control software for automated semiconductor equipment.
• Integrate software components and OEM equipment into fully functional systems.
• Produce optimized, testable, and efficient code with proper documentation, flowcharts, and comments.
• Debug existing source code and refine feature sets to improve functionality and performance.
• Support on-site installation, upgrades, and customer field service requirements.
• Improve equipment performance by conducting system analysis, proposing coding solutions, and recommending changes to processes/procedures.

Software Validation & Quality Assurance

• Develop and implement software validation and regression plans for semiconductor equipment.
• Prepare and maintain validation documentation, including test plans, configuration settings, and test cases.
• Execute functional, performance, and regression testing.
• Analyze test results, document findings, and provide feedback to the design team.
• Troubleshoot defects and ensure timely resolution in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Participate actively in design and code reviews.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets customer requirements and SEMI SECS/GEM industry standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in software design/development and validation in Windows environments (XP and above).
• Strong proficiency in C++, VC++, MFC, SQL, OOP, multi-threaded control software.
• Familiarity with SEMI SECS/GEM standards, GUI design, C#, and WPF is an advantage.
• Experience with hardware integration (Servo/Stepper Motion Controllers, Analog Devices, High-Speed I/O).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, VBA) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
