Role Overview
This role is responsible for driving the company’s commercial growth, strategic partnerships, and overall business performance, while ensuring operational alignment and execution excellence across functions. The incumbent will play a critical role in expanding market presence and supporting post-acquisition integration initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, strategic partners, and stakeholders to support business growth
- Define and implement commercial strategies aligned with overall business objectives to drive market expansion
- Collaborate with senior leadership to support corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and expansion initiatives
- Ensure alignment between sales, engineering, and operations teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Oversee execution of key projects to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Identify and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies to enhance performance
- Act as a key point of contact to build internal alignment across functions for seamless execution of business objectives
- Support organisational development, especially in post-acquisition integration scenarios, by aligning business processes, reporting structures, and performance management systems
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and capability building across teams to strengthen organisational capacity
- Drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth organisational transition during integration and transformation efforts
Required competencies and certifications
- Proven track record in business development and revenue growth, preferably in engineering, manufacturing, or technical industries
- Demonstrated ability to manage key accounts and strategic relationships
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving execution
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
