The Opportunity

This role is about strategic evaluation, implementation leadership, and driving business growth through technology.

This is a hands-on leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO, for a commercially astute and technically fluent professional. The Digital Transformation Lead will evaluate, implement, and oversee technology platforms, AI initiatives, and process improvements across the business. This role is strategic and implementation-focused — not helpdesk or IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Transformation Strategy & CEO Advisory

• Develop and own the company’s technology roadmap aligned to business strategy, growth goals, and operational realities

• Serve as primary technology advisor to the CEO, providing commercially grounded recommendations

• Evaluate competitive and technology landscapes to identify opportunities for advantage

• Lead the decommissioning of legacy systems and manage transitions to next-generation platforms

2. ERP, PIM & Accounting Systems Evaluation

3. BigCommerce Phase 2 Leadership

• Oversee Phase 2 rollout of BigCommerce, coordinating requirements, UAT, go-live, and post-launch stabilization

• Ensure seamless integration with ERP, PIM, and accounting systems

4. ERP & Systems Implementation Oversight

• Lead ERP implementation projects end-to-end

• Manage external implementation partners and ensure adherence to scope, timelines, and quality

5. AI Tools, Agents & Innovation

• Identify and pilot AI and automation solutions across business functions

• Develop a phased, commercially justified AI adoption roadmap

• Navigate grant programs (EDG, PSG, EDB) to maximize funding opportunities

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education:

Technology & Systems Experience:

• Proven experience evaluating and implementing ERP systems in manufacturing or engineering
