Resource Impactz is partnering with a government initiative and a tech start up company to support caregivers and elderly individuals. The programme uses interactive mobile applications and game-based activities to promote cognitive engagement and help combat dementia.
Role Overview
We are looking for friendly and reliable individuals to join as Assistant Facilitators. In this role, you will support the main Facilitator during training sessions and assist elderly participants and caregivers with simple tasks.
This is a micro job role, ideal for retirees or individuals who are looking to stay active, learn something new, and earn additional income during their free time.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist elderly participants and caregivers during training sessions
- Support participants in completing feedback forms
- Provide basic guidance and encouragement during activities
- Assist the main Facilitator on an ad-hoc basis during sessions
- Help ensure sessions run smoothly and participants feel supported
Training & Progression
- Basic training will be provided
- Opportunity to progress into a Facilitator role after 6 months, based on performance and interest
Requirements
- Friendly, patient, and approachable personality
- Willingness to interact with elderly participants
- Basic familiarity with smartphones is an advantage
- Ability to communicate in English and/or Chinese (additional local languages are a plus)
- No prior experience required – training will be provided
Work Schedule
- Sessions are 3 hours each
- Work is primarily scheduled on weekdays
- Flexible, session-based engagement
- Schedule will be shared in advance
Additional Information
- Sessions take place across West, East, and Central Singapore
- Transportation reimbursement provided if required to travel between centres on the same day
