Job Description

• Planning, coordination, supervision and execution of project for DI Water / Recycling / Wastewater Treatment equipment & system.
• Liaison with the material suppliers, equipment vendors and sub contractors to ensure compliant to the specifications.
• Liaise closely with fabrication superintendent on mechanical/piping prefab materials
• To carry out assignments as requested / instructed by immediate superior / management.
• Familiar with P&ID, GA, Isometric drawings, rotating machineries, material handling equipments, tanks and other miscellaneous equipment.
• Hands on field site testing and commissioning.
• Hands on existing water treatment plant operations and maintenance.
• Water treatment system troubleshooting and emergency response.
• Provide system improvement and modification solutions to customer along with the engineering team.
• Good attitude and communication with clients to meet the client and system requirement.
• Good teamwork with multi-disciplinary engineering knowledge.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Professional certification or equivalent.
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in DI Water / Recycling / Wastewater Treatment System.
• Well versed in AUTOCAD Software. Experience in piping isometric drawings would be an added advantage.
• Experience in Water Treatment Plant Mechanical Equipment and Piping work would be an added advantage.
• Independent, result-oriented with strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills as well as a team player.
• Must be willing to travel to customer ports to repair faulty equipments, including overseas travel (e.g., India, China) if local technicians are unable to resolve the issue.

Job Summary

The T&C (Testing & Commissioning) Engineer will lead testing and commissioning activities for large-scale industrial and solid waste management projects, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute testing and commissioning activities for large-scale solid waste management projects including Waste to Energy (WTE), sludge incineration, materials recovery, and food waste treatment facilities
• Apply engineering expertise to operate and validate systems in industrial/process/utilities projects such as waste, water, oil & gas, and power sectors
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure testing and commissioning meet technical and safety standards
• Manage schedules and resources to complete testing and commissioning within project timelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during commissioning to ensure system functionality and reliability

Required competencies and certifications

• Hold an EICA certification
• Possess at least 5 years of hands-on experience in testing and commissioning of large-scale solid waste management or industrial/process/utilities projects
