Duties and Responsibilities

As part of the Premier Service Unit servicing the bank’s key VIP trade clients, to effectively perform day-to-day business operational activities which includes meeting both internal and external stakeholders’ expectations in terms of quality and turnaround time:

1. Processing of Trade Finance applications including issuance and advising of Letter of Credit, Bank-to-Bank Reimbursements, Export Negotiations, etc.

2. Adherence to the processes, procedures and guidelines established under the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Process Risk Maps (PRM)

3. Maintain risk & controls measures as per the established standards and minimize operational losses

4. Identify and implement improvements to processes and/or procedures to increase productivity and control risks

5. Support the team with ad-hoc projects such as system enhancements and bug fixes

Requirements

a) Degree holder with a major in banking/finance and/or prior banking experience with system knowledge of IMEX/ELCY/GTC/ICE Trade/Contour

b) Inspiring individual, great work ethics and conceptual team player with problem solving abilities

c) An articulate and outgoing personality

d) Applicants with prior project management, process improvement and trade finance experience are highly advantageous

e) Capable of effectively working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines

h) Strong relationship building and management skills

Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of policy illustrations and client presentation materials for insurance specialists

2. Provide support to Insurance Specialists for new business and policy servicing transactions. This includes, but is not limited to, coordinating medical appointments with clinics, submitting required documentation to insurers, processing payment advice, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to advance various transactions

3. Preparation of policy review packages for incepted policies

4. Execute administrative tasks, including document printing, binding, and the arrangement of local and international courier services

5. Offer cross-support for Wealth Planning trust administration as needed.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience within Bancassurance or Insurance Brokerage environments

2. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders

3. Demonstrated ownership of outcomes and a strong drive to achieve personal and professional objectives

4. Well‑developed organizational abilities, with effective project coordination and management skills
