We are seeking a detail-oriented Investment and Research Director – Cryptocurrency and Digital Assets, to support end-to-end deal sourcing, analysis and execution of the cryptocurrency primary market.
The ideal candidate would possess a strong understanding of the entire investment process and better have direct experience with cryptocurrencies. Additionally, they would be naturally curious, sharp, and passionate about crypto space. In addition, the candidate should have deep analytical skills, well-defended opinions, and uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethics in their personal and professional capacity.
Job Descriptions
· Self-directed and full ownership of the full investment lifecycle, from thesis development and deal sourcing through due diligence, structuring, execution, and post-investment monitoring.
· Develop differentiated research coverage across multiple verticals and emerging sub-sectors, produce sector reports to support strategic decision-making advancing established opinions when necessary.
· expand upon an established proprietary deal flow network across the crypto space.
· Proactively embedded within the core crypto ecosystem — surface deals through founder networks, private channels, and in-person presence at key events rather than waiting for inbound; adapt fluidly across counterparties from anon builders to institutional allocators.
· Represent the company at conferences, ecosystem events, and private forums to build brand presence and maintain first mover access to priority deals.
· Works closely with FA channels and placement agents to access co-investment opportunities and maintain relationships with institutional Limited partners and deal intermediaries is a must.
Job Requirements
· Ideal candidates will bring deep, hands-on expertise in crypto venture and primary market investing, with a compelling track record of independently sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments across multiple market cycles and asset classes.
· Candidates from the following backgrounds will be considered, provided they demonstrate exceptional merit and a clear strategic vision for digital assets: Senior investment banking or Capital/primary markets experience at a bulge bracket or top-tier regional bank, with an established presence in the crypto ecosystem and a verifiable network of founders, protocols, and institutional co-investors.
· Senior Financial advisory (FA) or institutional coverage background with established relationships across family offices, sovereign wealth funds, and institutional allocators/channels and a decisive strategic pivot towards digital assets
· Senior fintech and crypto experience within investment banking or principal investing, with direct exposure to deal structuring, tokenomics, and protocol-level diligence
· Other principal investing or senior advisory backgrounds of equivalent standing and demonstrable impact
· Possesses an advanced analytical framework for evaluating tokenomics design, protocol mechanics, governance structures, team pedigree, and competitive moat across diverse verticals and stages of maturity.
· Brings a forward-looking perspective on global fintech and digital asset industry dynamics, with particular depth across payments infrastructure, digital banking, stablecoins, Real World Assets (RWA), clearing and settlement, crypto asset infrastructure, and the convergence of Artificial Intelligence and financial services.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to senior internal and external stakeholders, portfolio founders, limited partners, and external ecosystem participants with conviction.
· Self-directed, and executive accountability work style suited to a fast-moving investment environment, where leadership and independent judgement are expected from day one.
· Junior candidates will be considered as a manager role.
