Job Summary

We are seeking a Financial Analyst cum Investment Software Developer. The ideal candidate combines creativity and has a passion for conceiving and implementing frameworks that drive smarter investment decisions. You will maintain existing systems and further develop it using your skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop existing investment software systems to meet evolving business requirements.
• Enhance data protection and security systems to safeguard proprietary investment software and sensitive information.
• Expand software capabilities for further developing the existing system.
• Collaborate with Investment Analysts to rapidly acquire domain knowledge and align software development with business needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Demonstrate ability to independently conceive and build quantitative / analytical system.
• Strong skill in building quantitative data visualizations (charts, heatmaps, signal dashboards)
• Genuine passion for investing in financial markets
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum ofaccounting activities for assigned entities, including general ledger maintenance, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly management reports, balance sheet reconciliations, journals, schedules, and supporting documentation within reporting deadlines.
• Support group reporting requirements, including consolidation schedules and submissions for joint venture and investment entities.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, monitor collections, and ensure timely settlement of obligations.
• Assist with tax-related matters, including GST, withholding tax filings, tax schedules, and supporting documentation for tax computations.
• Coordinate and support external audits by preparing audit schedules, reconciliations, and responding to auditor queries.
• Assist with treasury activities such as cash flow monitoring, banking administration, loan servicing, and fund management requirements.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, system enhancement, and process improvement initiatives, as well as other finance-related projects assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification with at least 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Prior exposure to property, real estate, investment holding, or related industries will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently and handle confidential information professionally.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Cognos, or similar financial reporting platforms will be preferred.
