Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning, testing, and validation activities for building automation systems, integrated security systems, fire protection systems, monitoring systems, and M&E infrastructure.
• Review engineering drawings, system architecture diagrams, P&IDs, technical specifications, and design documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct system walkdowns, inspections, mechanical completion verification, and operational readiness assessments.
• Develop and execute commissioning plans, validation protocols, testing procedures, and system performance verification activities.
• Perform functional testing, integrated system testing, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and operational verification of automation and monitoring systems.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, controls, and software engineering teams during project execution.
• Manage punch lists, non-conformances, deviations, corrective actions, and system close-out activities.
• Review vendor documentation, commissioning reports, technical manuals, and equipment qualification records.
• Support implementation and testing of remote monitoring solutions, command center platforms, alarm management systems, and AI-enabled monitoring technologies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, safety requirements, and company quality management systems.
• Prepare commissioning reports, validation summaries, and project handover documentation.
• Participate in client meetings and provide technical support during project execution and commissioning phases.
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system optimization activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in engineering and project delivery processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Automation, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 10 – 12 years of experience in commissioning, qualification, validation, automation, instrumentation, utilities, or engineering project execution.
• Strong knowledge of automation systems, control systems, instrumentation, utilities, and integrated facility systems.
• Experience reviewing engineering documentation, commissioning procedures, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with platforms such as DeltaV, Siemens PCS7, SCADA, BMS, or similar systems.
• Experience in commissioning electrical, mechanical, HVAC, utility, or integrated building systems.
• Exposure to mission-critical environments such as pharmaceutical plants, industrial facilities, or data centers.
• Knowledge of risk-based validation methodologies and quality systems.
• Familiarity with integrated command center technologies, security monitoring platforms, and remote monitoring solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
