.NET Engineer (12-Month Renewable Contract)

Role Overview

The successful candidate will play a key role in the development, enhancement, and support of mission-critical applications built on .NET, C#, Angular, and SQL Server platforms. You will collaborate closely with Agile teams, contribute to technical design and implementation, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications using .NET technologies (C#), and SQL Server.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to identify and resolve technical impediments, ensuring smooth project delivery.
• Perform hands-on development for new features while supporting and enhancing existing business-critical applications.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot incidents, and serve as a technical subject matter expert for application-related issues.
• Drive best practices in software development, including code quality, maintainability, performance optimization, and reuse of components.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software development using the Microsoft .NET technology stack, including .NET Framework 4.5 and above.

Proven experience working on Public Sector or Government projects.

Strong proficiency in:

• C#
• ASP.NET / ASP.NET MVC
• Angular / AngularJS
• SQL Server
• JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX

Experience with source/version control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, TFS).

Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.

Experience in application support, troubleshooting, and production incident management.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in high-performing, collaborative teams throughout the full development lifecycle.

JOB SUMMARY:

Assistant Process Engineer with process engineering experience to join VTFS Engineering team. The candidate in this position will assist with process engineers which enables the features of future generations of products. They apply manufacturing, engineering, and technological principles to the development of new equipment, procedures, and processes.

Job Purpose

The Assistant Engineer, Power Maintenance works in a team to operate, maintain, and repair power system equipment in compliance with departmental quality objectives, procedures, and safety standards to ensure safe and reliable train services for commuters.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team in preventive and corrective maintenance of power system equipment

• Plan maintenance schedules and staff rosters with the Engineering Maintenance Manager

• Provide technical guidance and ensure all records, manuals, and drawings are updated

• Support engineering analysis, safety investigations, and testing activities

• Oversee repair, upgrading, and modification works; prepare completion reports

• Attend Permit-to-Work (PTW) / Permit-to-Access (PTA) requirements

Job Purpose

• Ensure safety compliance in station and depot operations

• Lead a team of Technical Officers in daily works, maintenance, and project support

The Junior Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, testing, repairing, producing, and overhauling mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of chillers and related systems. You will collaborate with fellow technicians to support our overall chiller manufacturing process.

Requirements:

• ITE/ Poly Diploma in Engineering(Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.

• 1 -2 years of working experience in HVAC or Industrial Chiller fields.

• Proficient in Solidworks.
