Job Title - MRO Engineers

Location - Ang Mo Kio

Description -

Will be a part of the Maintenance, Repairs, Overhauls (MRO) – Engineering team to ensure the smooth functioning of our engineering, quality and reliability processes supporting Ground Support Equipment (GSE) maintenance operations at the customer’s premises. Will play a key role in maintaining operational reliability, troubleshooting issues, engaging the customer in technical/engineering issues, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.

Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical issues utilizing practical fault tree analysis methodologies to minimize GSE downtime.

Conduct failure mode analysis and recommend enhance maintenance scheme to improve GSE reliability.

Communicate with the customers on troubleshooting, failure mode and corrective/preventive actions on technical defects.

Prepare technical report and presentation deck for submission and presenting to the customer when required.

Develop, review, and update technical documentation including maintenance manuals, repair procedures, and engineering change requests.

Perform spare parts obsolescence management which include identifying obsolete spare parts and mitigating risk through monitoring, alternative parts identification and build safety stocks.

Collaborate closely with operations, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to optimize maintenance schedule planning.

Respond to urgent technical issues, emergencies during off-office hours and weekends when necessary.

Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards.

What we are looking for:
• Bachelor in Electrical/Computer/Computer Science Engineering.
• Minimal 5 years of experience in embedded firmware/software product development. Prior experience in industrial automation will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in C programming for embedded systems; C++ experience is required.
• Practical experience with STM32 or similar 32-bit MCU architectures, including low-level driver development.
• Experience with development in the following areas for embedded system:
o Development with RTOS, such as VxWorks, Quadros, ThreadX or others.
o Development of communication protocols like TCP/IP, Ethernet/USB/WIFI and CAN/Profibus.
• Good analysis skills and proven ability to solve complex problems. Experience in using different hardware-assisted debugging tools (eg: oscilloscope, logic analyzer etc.)

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
• Have experience implementing firmware in digital and analogue hardware-oriented design based on chip/component specification, hardware design and schematics.
• Experience documenting firmware/embedded software design, hardware/firmware interface. Have knowledge in different established design techniques and design patterns.
• Have experience leading process improvements to improve organization capabilities with results based on embedded software development modern practices and tools.
• We prefer knowledge of industrial automation, control systems, or PLCs.
