The Role

HDR is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Singapore Building Engineering Services (BES) team. This position will be working on projects across a range of markets, primarily the Mission Critical sector.

The principal activities of the role will be:

• Delivering building services design packages from concept through to construction  
• Undertaking detailed engineering calculations, design development and system selection

Job Summary

The Lead Loss Prevention Engineer is responsible for leading and managing all technical safety and loss prevention engineering activities for offshore Oil & Gas projects. The role ensures compliance with international standards, company specifications, and regulatory requirements to minimize operational risks, safeguard personnel, assets, and the environment throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all Loss Prevention and Technical Safety engineering activities during FEED, EPC, EPCIC, and detailed engineering phases
• Prepare and review safety deliverables including Firewater Demand Calculation, Firewater P&IDs, Fire & Gas Mapping, ESD Philosophy, Hazardous Area Classification, Safety Plan, Fire Control Plan
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety requirements are properly integrated into engineering designs

Job Requirements

IT EUC Engineer (L2/L3 – EUC & Network Support)

Position Overview

This role is responsible for end-to-end EUC engineering and operational support within a managed services environment, with additional responsibility for network troubleshooting and infrastructure support. The engineer is expected to operate at L2/L3 level, handling escalations, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring SLA-driven service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. End User Computing (EUC) & Technical Support

• Provide Level 2/3 technical support, including handling critical and emergency incidents.

• Manage end-user devices (desktops, laptops, mobile devices) across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.

• Integrate the MES system with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, PLM, LIMS) using appropriate integration methods.
• Develop and maintain electronic batch record, process instructions, recipes, workflows, electronic logbooks, etc.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide insights into manufacturing performance.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users.
• Support qualification / validation activities including authoring and executing test scripts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve MES system issues, working closely with other stakeholders such as IT and manufacturing teams.
• Support project and system change management.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the MES system and related processes.
• Maintain updated system documentations.
• Identify gaps in system administration, management, quality and compliance, and drive operational improvement processes.

Requirements:

• Hold Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering or related field.
• Have worked for at least 2 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Fresh graduates with internship in supporting MES roll out or maintenance in pharmaceutical or medical device industry may apply for a Junior role.
• Have at least been a user of one Manufacturing Execution System (MES) (e.g., Syncade, PAS-X, OpCenter EX Pharma, POMSnet, PharmaSuite) and/or Data management or integration technologies (e.g., OSI PI, IP.21) or have authored recipes in the MES.
• Preferably with experience in system background including virtualization, software and hardware.
• Preferably with experience with system integration such as between MES and ERP, MES with DCS and / or MES and Historian.
• Preferably with working knowledge on database management.
• Preferably with understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Preferably having supported installation, administration and troubleshooting of computer systems and servers.
• Preferably with familiarity with cloud platforms.
• Preferably with reporting and data visualization tools.
• Understand computerised system requirements in the pharmaceutical industry (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11) and industry best practice (e.g., ISA 88, GAMP5).

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for creating and developing detailed 3D models of buildings or infrastructure projects using BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, or Bentley MicroStation, etc.

2. To update and maintain the BIM models and drawings to reflect any design changes, construction progress, or as-built conditions and ensure accuracy of shop drawings.

3. Keep the models and drawings up to date and ensure that the information remains accurate and reliable.

4. Using Common Data Environment (CDE) to manage the process of exchange and coordination of BIM model with consultants, client, and stakeholders.

5. Knowledge of Coordinated Combined Services Model (CCSM).

6. Generate shop drawings for preliminary, construction and as-built stages from BIM model.

7. Produce completeness shop drawings as per detail given by engineer/manager and ensure drawings and ensure drawings submission schedule is achieved.

8. Knowledge of Combined Services Drawings (CSD), Structural E&M Drawings (SEM), Concrete Body Plan (CBP) & Wall Setting Out Plan.

9. Ensure that BIM deliverables and documentation follow BIM Execution Plan (BEP) or requirement/instruction as stipulated.

10. Other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Job Requiremnts:

1. Diploma/Degree in Structural/Architecture/Engineering/Construction/MEP or equivalent.

2. Knowledge and experience in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks.

What you’ll achieve
As a Principal Systems Development Engineer, you will be on-site Vietnam PCBA factories for production build support and keep improving FPY.

You will: 

• Design, review, approve and implement test plan & process to keep consistent with Worldwide PCBA test requirement. Make sure Vietnam PCBA factories in compliance with all PCBA test requirement. Vietnam PCBA factories data mining to reflect the factory reality and then improvement.
• X-team collaboration and Vietnam PCBA factories test management to meet Worldwide PCBA test goal. Identify, drive, analyze, guide, summarize PCBA factory test NUDD, DFT, HSR,5C report and lessons learned. PCBA factory fixture plan, readiness, life cycle management and issue tracking. Bring up and coach local PCBA test team to improve test technologies.
• Designs and defines system requirements for complex customer systems, and/or prepares studies and analyzes existing systems. Determines system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Coordinates design of subsystems and/or the integration of total systems or multiple functions. Responsible for design of assigned system/subsystem and meeting quality requirements.
• Ensures the manufacturability, reliability and serviceability of test designs. Identifies, analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions. Responsible for benchmarking, testing and analysis on products during all phases of the development process.
• Documents results in technical reports, white papers and online web pages. Ensures assignments are completed within schedule and cost objectives. Responsible for the end-to-end ownership of assigned system(s). Coordinates root cause analysis to solve issues including complex issues. Interfaces with technologists, development and marketing to define and optimize system performance and resolve performance problems.
