Job Summary

This full-time Project Engineer role at First Piping Engineering Pte. Ltd. involves leading semiconductor and MEP system projects from planning through execution, ensuring technical excellence, budget adherence, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals
• Design, optimize, and develop innovative engineering solutions tailored to semiconductor and MEP systems requirements
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to deliver projects successfully within scope and cost constraints
• Conduct site inspections to monitor project progress and identify technical issues, implementing effective resolutions promptly
• Develop comprehensive project documentation, reports, and presentations for communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase project delivery efficiency and quality

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent)
• At least 1 year of experience as a Project Engineer in the semiconductor or MEP systems industry

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficiency in engineering software such as CAD, BIM, and project management tools
• Strong understanding of engineering design principles, project management methodologies, and technical problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Key Responsibilities:

·        Attend client meetings and site visits tounderstand project scope and tender requirements

·        Coordinate and monitor site progress inaccordance with project schedules

·        Interpret and assist in the preparation ofprocess flow diagram and layout drawings

·        Review project requirements to ensure alldesigns meet client specifications

·        Use AutoCAD for basic drafting, mark-ups, anddrawing reviews as required

·        Coordinate with Electrical & Controlsvendors for integration of FMCS and SCADA systems

·        Prepare and send enquiries to vendors andsuppliers for quotations

·        Review quotations from vendors, fabricators,and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications andtimelines

·        Assist in the preparation of site safetydocumentation and Permit-To-Work (PTW) application

·        Provide timely updates and progress reports toproject leads

·        Ensure works are carried out efficiently,safely, and in accordance with required quality standards

Requirements:

·        Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / ElectricalEngineering or related field

·        1–2 years of relevant experience in MEP orsemiconductor projects

·        Basic knowledge of ACMV, DIW, PCW, GEX, WWTPsystems

·        Familiar with engineering drawings and AutoCAD

·        Basic understanding of electrical and controlsystems

·        Able to work in a site-based environment

·        Good communication, coordination, and teamworkskills
