Job Responsibilities

• Resident Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
• Defects Management: Monitor and update residents on the status of defect rectifications.
• Appointment Scheduling: Arrange inspections with the Building Service Centre (BSC) team.
• Liaison Work: Coordinate with HDB, Town Council, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Administrative Duties: Prepare reports, manage correspondence, and maintain records.
• Public Relations: Write notices to inform residents about construction activities.
• Site Coordination: Work with site supervisors to schedule rectification work.
• Information Centre Management: Maintain and upkeep the service centre.

Core responsibilities:

• Assist CRO to plan and launch public relation programs for the construction projects, such as preparing circulars, letters and notices.
• Conduct survey on existing condition, such as: spalling concrete and ceiling leakage etc. as well as taking measurement.
• Plan and coordinate assigned work to be carried out in a timely manner.
• Handle enquires, feedback and complaints pertaining to the projects as well as follow-up on actions to resolve it.
• Work closely and ensure smooth operation procedure during upgrading work between the relevant parties such as residents, contractors, consultants and authorities like the Town Councils and Housing Development Board (HDB) etc. as well as take proactive measures in mitigating complaints arising from the construction activities.
• Show, explain and demonstrate to residents and/or tenants the location and purpose of retrofits provisions.
• Maintain good rapport and positive relations with the residents and/or tenants.
• Conduct regular visits to residents and/ or tenants affected by the works to gather feedback and keep them posted of the work schedule’s changes and impacts.
• Perform administrative/clerical duties.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Customer Relations Officer (HDB Project)

Responsibilities:

• Handle Complaints: Resolve all conflicts, feedback, and complaints from residents and shop tenants regarding the project.
• Meeting Representative: Attend dialogue sessions and meetings with the Client, RC, CCC, Town Council, and other government bodies.
• Ground Engagement: Conduct regular house-to-house visits to residents affected by the works. Update them on work schedules and any potential impact (noise, dust, etc.).
• Reporting: Keep proper records of all feedback and report to the Project Manager/Board.
• Ad-hoc: Any other public relations duties assigned by the management.

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum GCE "A" Level or Diploma (any field).
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in similar experience
• Industry: Experience in HDB projects (HIP, BTO, or Lift Upgrading) is a major advantage.
• Skills: Must be able to communicate well with residents and handle difficult situations on-site.
• Entry-Level: Candidates with no experience but have at least GCE “O” Level may be considered for the APRO (Assistant Public Relations Officer) role.
