What this job involves: 

This role leads JLL's APAC Research Data Operations team, ensuring the quality, consistency, and reliability of property market data across more than 20 Asia Pacific markets. You will oversee the data that underpins JLL's research, insights, and Real Estate Intelligence Service client deliverables, collaborating closely with local market Research teams and internal stakeholders. The position requires tactical oversight of the APAC component of JLL Research's offshore data management capability in India. 
 

What your day-to-day will look like: 

• Leading and developing the APAC Data Operations team to support Research teams across the region with timely submission and validation of market data 

• Establishing data quality frameworks and conducting systematic reviews to identify missing information, inconsistencies, or unusual trends 

• Directing the preparation and management of datasets using agreed standards and processes, ensuring compliance across all markets 

• Monitoring key property market indicators and validating trends against real estate fundamentals 

• Overseeing the maintenance and optimization of databases and systems used to store and deliver research data to clients and internal stakeholders 

• Driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing best practices across the APAC Data Operations function including championing the evaluation, testing, and adoption of AI and automation tools that enhance data quality and streamline processes 

• Managing relationships with offshore data management teams in India and China and onshore stakeholders, setting priorities and monitoring performance 

• Collaborating with senior stakeholders to align data operations with broader research and business objectives 

• Reporting on team performance, data quality metrics, and operational efficiency to senior management 

• Contributing highly specialized expertise in APAC data and methodologies to global data initiatives 

Required Qualifications: 

• 10+ years of experience in a data operations management role, ideally within a commercial real estate agency or related industry 

• Proven ability to analyze complex information, identify issues, apply logical problem solving, and effectively communicate findings to diverse stakeholders and senior management 

• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and develop high-performing teams 

• Excellent project management capabilities with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives, meet deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment 

• Exceptional attention to detail with deep expertise in managing data-intensive processes 

• Bachelor's degree in economics, data science, statistics, mathematics, or a related discipline 

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including complex formulas and working with large, structured datasets 

• Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with teams across APAC markets and managing offshore operations.
   

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Proven track record of implementing data quality controls and validation processes

• Deep understanding of Asia Pacific commercial real estate markets and how JLL Research materials are leveraged to support the transaction business lines 

• Mandarin language proficiency is advantageous due to regular collaboration with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and offshore data operations teams in China.

· Assists in providing effective support to project management teams by ensuring that the contracts are administered in accordance with contractual obligations and effective cost management strategies;

· Carries out pre-tender activities in the award of trade packages by conducting site show round and ensuring the completeness of tender drawings/documents;

· Seeks clarifications with the respective consultants regarding discrepancies in the scope of work and drawings; replace all addendum drawings and BQ pages after clarifications;

· Seeks quotation from the respective trades and follows up on submission of quotations;

· Takes up quantity as per BQ and the detailed breakdown in the Excel sheet;

· Reviews tender pricing with contract manager; understands the project schedule, profit margin and goodwill discount; attends tender interviews; goes through tender reply with contract manager and prepares reply accordingly;

· Reviews letter of appointments, contract drawings and documents and to highlight any deviation from the tender;

· Attends project kick off meetings and brief the scope of works with project team and management;

· Makes arrangements for insurance/factory licence/bond/pre-construction survey, fit out deposit if required;

· Follows up on making arrangements for sample submission;

· Attends consultant meeting with Project Manager;

· Negotiates with the respective supplier and appoints the specialist sub-contractors based on trade;

· Ensures the timely submission of VO cost on day to day or weekly basis and communicates with the project manager; timely submission of monthly progress claims; final account closing;

· Submits the progress claim on monthly basis;

· Follows up effectively on payment certificate and payment with the clients;

· Certifies sub-contractors claims based on site progress and quantity;

· Requests for AI/EI with the respective consultants;

· Attends internal and external project closure meetings with consultants;

· Submits the warranty based on contractual terms;

· Ensures submission of as built drawings and OM manual;

· Follows through with the landlord on refund of fit out deposit;

· Any other duties as may be assigned

What do we expect from you?

Under the guidance of the Executive Housekeeper or any other authorized by the management, to be responsible for assigning and supervising the activities of the room attendants, house porters and linen porters to ensure clean, orderly, attractive and well maintained guest rooms, corridors, fire exits, stairways and service areas on assigned floors/areas.

Responsible for ensuring that all staff and guest issues are dealt with in an effective and timely manner. To act in the hotel’s interest and as your direct manager’s representative in their absence.

How your day looks like:

• Supervise the allocation of work assignments to Room Attendants and Porters to ensure maximum coverage.
• Assign special duties to Room Attendants and House Porters on assigned floors.
• Check the computer system throughout the day for an update of room status.
• Check and return an allocated number of guest rooms to the standard required by the hotel
• Report to the Housekeeping office any rooms which do not require service, are “Do Not Disturb” or are double locked by the afternoon and to log these on the hand over.
• Report and log any maintenance defects found in the rooms and assigned areas. Liaise with Maintenance and Reception regarding all out of order rooms.
• Ensure soft furnishings and décor of rooms are maintained to standard.
• Oversee implementation of deep cleaning and replacement.
• Check on a daily basis the arrivals, departures and VIP lists.
• Check VIP rooms to ensure they are cleaned and maintained to the required standard. Ensure VIP gifts are replenished.
• Control and supervise the issue and recording of keys and bleeps to all departmental staff on a daily basis.
• Check that adequate linen, cleaning materials and guest supplies are held in each floor linen and supplies cupboards. Liaise with the linen room and valet as required.
• Ensure all public area and back of house areas are clean.
• Assist in stock taking of Housekeeping items when necessary.
• Assist in monitoring and controlling housekeeping procedures, including lost property, key and pager control, security and emergency procedures, Health and Safety for employees and guests to ensure optimum guest satisfaction, sales maximization and profitability.
• Participate in conducting weekly inspections of all areas to ensure physical facilities are kept in optimal condition by full implementation of preventative maintenance programs and judicious planning and management of FF&E.
• Create and implement green policies and procedures to reduce waste and energy consumption.
• Report immediately any valuable lost property to security and to log packages and all other lost property.
• Handle guest requests, queries and complaints with immediate action and thorough follow up and refer when necessary.
• Assist fellow employees to perform similar or related jobs as and when necessary.
• Carry out any projects and assignments as directed by the Executive Housekeeper
• Preparation and completion of timesheets, rotas, holiday schedules, in line with business needs, as and when required
