Key Responsibilities
Pre-Contract Duties
⢠Prepare cost estimates and budgets
⢠Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements
⢠Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ)
⢠Source and evaluate subcontractor quotations
⢠Assist in tender preparation and submission
⢠Analyze project specifications and drawings
Post-Contract Duties
⢠Monitor project costs and cash flow
⢠Prepare progress claims and payment certifications
⢠Evaluate variation orders (VO)
⢠Manage subcontractor claims and payments
⢠Track project budget and forecast final costs
⢠Prepare final accounts upon project completion
Contract Administration
⢠Prepare cost reports for management
⢠Ensure compliance with contractual obligations
⢠Handle disputes and commercial negotiations
⢠Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and site team
Reporting & Coordination
⢠Review construction contracts
⢠Attend project meetings
⢠Liaise with architects, engineers, and clients
⢠Maintain proper project documentation
Job Requirements
⢠Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
⢠Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
⢠Knowledge of construction methods and materials
⢠Familiarity with Singapore construction standards
⢠Strong negotiation skills
