Position Overview

Although the recruitment process is conducted by our organisation, the successful candidate will be formally employed under our sister company, SPD URBAN VENTURES SDN. BHD.

We are seeking an experienced Account & Finance Manager to join our property development team. The successful candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide strategic insights to support the company’s growth and project success.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage full spectrum of accounting and finance functions, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Develop budgets and forecasts for property development projects.
• Monitor cash flow, project financing, and investment returns.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and tax regulations.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
• Provide financial analysis to support feasibility studies and project planning.
• Advise management on financial risks, opportunities, and cost optimization.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, implementing best practices in financial processes and internal controls.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in property development or construction.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS, tax laws, and project financing.
• Proficiency in accounting software (AutoCount, MHub & IFCA).
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Fluency in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.

Tanggungjawab Kerja

• Menguruskan spektrum penuh fungsi perakaunan dan kewangan, termasuk akaun belum bayar, akaun belum terima dan lejar am.
• Menyediakan laporan kewangan bulanan, suku tahunan dan tahunan yang tepat.
• Membangunkan bajet dan ramalan untuk projek pembangunan hartanah.
• Pantau aliran tunai, pembiayaan projek dan pulangan pelaburan.
• Memastikan pematuhan dengan Piawaian Pelaporan Kewangan Malaysia (MFRS) dan peraturan cukai.
• Berhubung dengan juruaudit, ejen cukai dan pihak berkuasa kawal selia.
• Menyediakan analisis kewangan untuk menyokong kajian kebolehlaksanaan dan perancangan projek.
• Menasihati pihak pengurusan tentang risiko kewangan, peluang dan pengoptimuman kos.
• Memimpin dan membimbing pasukan kewangan, melaksanakan amalan terbaik dalam proses kewangan dan kawalan dalaman.

Keperluan Kerja

• Ijazah Sarjana Muda dalam Perakaunan, Kewangan atau bidang berkaitan.
• Minimum 5–8 tahun pengalaman berkaitan, dengan sekurang-kurangnya 3 tahun dalam pembangunan atau pembinaan hartanah.
• Pengetahuan yang kukuh tentang MFRS, undang-undang cukai dan pembiayaan projek.
• Kemahiran dalam perisian perakaunan (AutoCount, MHub & IFCA).
• Kemahiran analitikal, kepimpinan dan komunikasi yang cemerlang.

• Define and support the achievement of project success criteria including time, cost, quality, and performance.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.
• Monitor project finances and ensure alignment with budgetary targets with the project quantity surveyor team.

• Manage end-to-end electrical project execution for a manufacturing facility, from design review to commissioning.
• Oversee electrical contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure compliance with project scope, quality, and safety standards.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, method statements, and shop drawings.
• Plan and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with local authorities, codes, and standards (e.g. Suruhanjaya Tenaga, IEC, MS standards).
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, process, and EHS teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections, progress meetings, and risk assessments.
• Manage testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, technical issues, and delays.
• Prepare regular project status reports for stakeholders.
