Hyperscale Server Design Engineer is responsible for designing, validating, and optimizing high-performance server hardware, racks, and infrastructure systems to support massive-scale cloud computing environments. Responsibilities include:

• Conduct server feasibility studies, define and maintain hardware architectures and solutions, and create execution plan.

• Design schematic, create BOM, support prototype/engineering build.

• Guide and work with PCB engineers on layout and placement.

THE ROLE: 

The focus of this role is to plan, build, and execute the verification of new and existing features for AMD’s SerDes IP, resulting in no bugs in the final design.   

THE PERSON:  

You have a passion for modern, complex SerDes architecture, digital design, and verification in general. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with other engineers located in different sites/timezones.
