JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Artistry The company represents a pinnacle of cultural fusion, blending classical European silhouettes with the most guarded traditions of Japanese artistry.

Each piece is treated as a unique commission, featuring:

Chisel-Carved "Turnery": Hand-sculpted frames adjusted by eye to create curves machines cannot replicate.

Urushi Mastery: Multi-layered lacquer finishes—using techniques employed in the restoration of Japan’s most sacred National Treasures, such as Kinkaku-ji (The Golden Pavilion).

Investment-Grade Craft: The result is a "transparent amber" finish that evolves and grows more lustrous over decades, creating functional heritage artifacts for the home.

The Mission: An Elite Interim Project We are seeking a top-tier marketing visionary for a high-impact interim project to architect the brand’s entry into the Singapore market. This is a rare opportunity to work in a direct, one-on-one partnership with the 4th-generation owner to bridge 150 years of Japanese heritage with the modern luxury landscape of Southeast Asia.

The Scope of the Interim Engagement:

Brand Positioning: Collaborating with the Owner to define the "soul" of the brand for an international audience.

Strategic Root-Setting: Establishing brand equity and desire within the Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) community before commercial dealer discussions begin.

Story-Led PR: Leveraging elite media connections to craft deep, narrative-driven features that reach the most discerning collectors.

Market Entry Blueprint: Creating the "Bespoke Playbook" that will dictate how the brand interacts with Singapore's elite interior design and retail ecosystem.

This project is designed for a seasoned luxury marketing leader or fractional CMO who has "done it before"—someone with a proven track record of launching very high-premium brands (home products, furniture, or white goods) and who possesses the cultural dexterity to translate Japanese heritage into a local status symbol.

Who You Are

Luxury Pedigree: You have a proven track record in the Very High-Premium sector (Bespoke Interiors, Haute Horlogerie, or Ultra-Luxury White Goods).

The Bridge: You possess the cultural dexterity to translate meticulous Japanese craftsmanship into a status-rich narrative for the Southeast Asian market.

CEO-Level Strategist: You are comfortable working directly with founders to craft market-entry blueprints that prioritize quality and heritage over mass-market volume.

Available for Impact: You are a seasoned leader or fractional CMO ready to lead a high-intensity interim project that will leave a permanent mark on the luxury landscape.

Design Director – iGaming PlatformKey Responsibilities：

Overall Visual Direction：Lead the overall visual style, UI/UX design standards, and brand identity for the iGaming website and mobile platform

Team Leadership：Manage and mentor UI, UX, and visual design teams, ensuring design quality, resource allocation, and team capability development

Product Experience Optimization：Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and continuous user experience improvement

Creative Strategy：Define the overall creative direction of the platform based on market trends and user preferences to drive retention and conversion

Design System Development：Build and maintain a scalable design system to ensure consistency across multiple product lines

Vendor Management：Manage external design vendors and ensure output quality meets company standards

Data-Driven Design：Iterate design solutions based on user behavior data and A/B testing results to improve key business metrics

Requirements：

Experience：8+ years of digital product design experience, including at least 3 years in design team management

Industry Background：Experience in iGaming, FinTech, or internet platform products is preferred

Technical Skills：

Proficient in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools

Deep understanding of mobile and web design guidelines (iOS, Android, responsive design)

Experience in building design systems

Education：Bachelor‘s degree or above in Design, HCI, Visual Communication, or a related field

Language：Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) -liaise with Chinese clients from China.

Soft Skills：Strong cross-functional communication, stress management, and project management skills

Evaluates project information, confers and corresponds with client representatives in coordination with the
Project Manager/Principal to determine project parameters and requirements.
Develops design concepts for project(s).

- Leads design development of client’s interior program through development of photographic image studies.

- Develops interior design to meet the client’s programmatic requirements and assure technical suitability.

- Develops conceptual ideas graphically.

- Leads design charettes.

Participates directly in each project from programming through project completion.

Leads presentation and design drawings.
Be the creative head.

- Develops block plans and bubble diagrams.

- Leads and reviews design details.

- Corrects / revises drawings with minimal supervision.

Coordinates with design team to ensure integration of design and interior design elements.

- Provides guidance to other members of the design team to ensure that design documents are in appropriate formats.

- Participates in all charettes.

- Monitors and sometimes coordinates the design work of consultants.

Is responsible for quality control for the interior design function, including:

- Accuracy of each segment of work as it is completed.

- Conformance to company design standards.

Project Management

- Establishes program with Project Manager/Principal.

- Responsible for all projects within the team.

- Participates in determining the skills required of other team members for the project and the selection of those team members.

- Prepares progress reports. Alerts Project Manager to any changes in scope, lack of information or decisions from client.

Oversees interior design aspects of construction:

- Assists with construction oversight for general conformance with the interior design concept.

- Responds to construction questions as they relate to interior design issues.

Directs / supervises the gathering of the technical specifications for various interior design elements (FF&E).

- Selects and directs materials for project.

Confers and corresponds with client representatives, to determine project parameters / requirements; participates in design presentations.

Directs construction of finish boards.

Participates in the development of “in-house” design standards; assures that design policies, procedures, standards and philosophies are adhered to.

Responsible for personal and staff development

- Performs senior staff development duties such as mentoring, training, supervising and directing junior staff.

- Participates in management and leadership groups.
