Key Responsibilities (Finance& Economics Focus)
- Financial Calendar & Budget Management Manage the Executive’s calendar, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements, with emphasis on financial reviews, budget deadlines, and regulatory reporting schedules.
- Government & Regulatory Financial Communications Screen and prioritize incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, including sensitive financial and compliance communications with government agencies (MOM, BCA, IRAS).
- Contracts & Financial Documentation Draft, review, and edit high-level business correspondence, contracts, tender documents, and board papers, ensuring accuracy in financial terms and confidentiality.
- Cross-Departmental Financial Reporting Coordinate consolidated reporting by compiling financial, HR, and project data into management packs, supporting executive decision-making with quantitative insights.
- Meeting Support & Economic Analysis Attend executive and board meetings, prepare detailed minutes, and track follow-up actions, including financial and economic implications across stakeholders.
- Strategic Finance & Economics Initiatives Support strategic initiatives such as project bids, worker placement compliance, and overseas expansion by conducting financial research and preparing economic analysis reports.
- Executive Events & Economic Forums Organize executive-level events, industry forums, and stakeholder engagements, with focus on financial and economic policy discussions, liaising with regulators and clients.
- Expense & Budget Oversight Oversee expense claims, project-related financial tracking, and reconciliation of executive budgets, including variance analysis and compliance with corporate finance policies.
- Confidential Financial Information Management Maintain strict confidentiality in handling sensitive information such as worker contracts, payroll compliance, and regulatory financial submissions.
- Financial Document & Compliance Supervision Supervise document management processes, including tender submissions, MOM filings, and project compliance records with financial implications.
- Policy & Financial Communications Assist in drafting responses and policy communications for CEO’s review, ensuring alignment with corporate governance and financial standards.
- Advanced Administrative & Procurement Support Perform advanced administrative duties, including vendor coordination, procurement support, and monitoring of project documentation systems with financial relevance.
- Ad-hoc Financial & Crisis Support Undertake ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the Executive, including urgent financial filings, economic risk assessments, and crisis management support.
