INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) EXECUTIVE
Job Role Summary:-
Responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and support of KTSB IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, security, and compliance. Supports 24-hour terminal operations through hands-on IT services, infrastructure management, vendor coordination, and operational governance.
Expected Level of Proficiency:-
Minimum Qualification/Education
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Business Studies, Economics or a related field or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking or equivalent.
Experience
At least 5 years’ experience in ICT for degree holder or 10–12 years relevant IT experience for diploma holder, preferably in terminal, industrial, or oil & gas environments.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills
• IT operations, servers, networks, cloud services, and cybersecurity controls
• Incident, problem, change management (MOC)
• Root Cause Analysis / Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCA / RCFA)
• Internal & external audits including ISO certifications
• IT procurement processes (PR, PO, invoice verification)
• Vendor management and documentation control
• HSE awareness in hazardous and 24-hour operational environments
Key Accountabilities:-
- Provide daily operational support and preventive maintenance for IT systems, networks, servers, and end-user devices.
- Act as primary IT support contact for employees, contractors, and operational teams Maintains company ledgers and daily financial transactions.
- Implement IT security controls, access management, and compliance with company IT policies.
- Manage internal and external IT audits, including ISO certification audits and corrective action tracking.
- Execute IT procurement administration including PR raising, PO coordination, invoice verification, and Finance liaison.
- Manage and participate in Management of Change (MOC) processes for IT systems and infrastructure.
- Conduct or support RCA/RCFA for IT incidents and system failures.
- Coordinate outsourced IT vendors and service providers.
- Maintain IT documentation, asset registers, configuration baselines, and licensing records
- Support IT projects, upgrades, system migrations, and infrastructure improvements.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements during all IT activities
