Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow existing customer accounts while actively identifying new business opportunities.
Handle customer technical complaints, perform root-cause analysis, and provide effective solutions.

Work closely with production and technical teams to communicate customer feedback and implement improvements.

Provide product training and demonstrations to customers when required.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
Maintain proper records of complaints, trials, sales activities, and customer interactions.
Support new product development by gathering market insights and customer feedback.
Explore and develop new markets, territories, and customer segments to expand business growth.
Conduct market visits and business development activities to generate new leads and opportunities.
Develop market penetration strategies and execute plans for regional expansion.
Assist in resolving quality-related matters and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Prepare monthly sales and technical reports for management review.

Who We Are Looking For

Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales, Technical Sales, or Business Development in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Experience handling technical complaints or product troubleshooting is an added advantage.
Good command of Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Independent, proactive, and able to interact with all levels of personnel, including production teams and customers.
Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills.
A team player with leadership qualities, integrity, and professionalism.
Willing to travel for customer visits and site support.

Job Coverage & Working Arrangement

Successful candidates will be responsible for sales in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Seremban, Penang, Kedah, Perak, or overseas (subject to project and customer allocation), and will be required to travel within these areas.
We do not operate an office in KL — candidates will be required to work from home and visit customers directly.
Company will conduct in-person training during the onboarding period.
Weekly conference calls and virtual meetings will be carried out for coordination and reporting.
Preferred language (optional but advantageous): Mandarin, Hokkien, or Cantonese, as the role involves serving Mandarin-speaking customers.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to support our Sales Manager in the trading of engineering products. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the sales department by managing administrative tasks, coordinating sales activities, and facilitating communication between the sales team, clients, and suppliers. Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support:

Assist the Sales Manager in preparing sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
Maintain and update the customer database (CRM) with accurate and timely information.
Track sales orders, monitor delivery schedules, and ensure timely fulfillment of customer requirements.
Prepare sales reports, including sales performance, pipeline, and market analysis.

Coordination and Communication:

Act as a liaison between the sales team, customers, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and resolve any issues.
Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., logistics, finance, and operations) to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.
Schedule and organize sales meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.

Administrative Duties:

Handle incoming inquiries from clients and direct them to the appropriate team members.
Maintain and organize sales-related documents, including contracts, invoices, and product specifications.

Customer Service:

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

Market Research:

Assist in researching market trends, competitor activities, and potential new clients.
Support the Sales Manager in identifying new business opportunities and developing sales strategies.

Ad Hoc Tasks:

Assist with any ad hoc tasks or projects as assigned by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a sales support or coordination role, preferably in the engineering, manufacturing, or trading industry.
Familiarity with engineering products or technical knowledge is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Beginning as a sub-contractor The Group started from a humble beginning in 1996 as a sub-contractor. This project was completed as scheduled and has set a new milestone for Pesona Metro for it was awarded the prestigious Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia (“PAM”) Award in 2009 for Category 8 (Special Category). It also won the Special Award for National Contribution in 2011 in the coveted FIABCI Malaysia Property Award. These accolades testified Pesona Metro’s reputation as a builder of timely delivery and exceptional quality. "Design and Build" for Timah Tasoh Dam In 2006, Pesona Metro secured the construction of Zehn Bukit Pantai in Kuala Lumpur, which was a two-block 25-storey luxurious condominium. Other prominent projects completed by Pesona Metro include Suruhanjaya Pilihanraya building, Sastra U-Thant Luxury Condominium, the Realignment and Rehabilitation of 3.7km Sungai Kerayong in Kuala Lumpur, Design and Build project for the Timah Tasoh Damn in Perlis and other road and bridge works in Terengganu. Listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad In 2012, Pesona Metro Holdings Berhad was listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (Construction Sector). As the Group continues to grow, it has ventured into other complementing businesses that bring recurring revenues. It acquired Pesona Saferay Sdn Bhd that manufactures PU products that are used for interior and exterior façade applications, and also PM2 Building System Sdn Bhd that produces modular partition panels which is an excellent replacement of conventional bricks.
