The Sales Manager – Rooms is responsible for driving room revenue through proactive sales efforts, account management and market development.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role focuses on identifying and securing business across key segments including corporate, leisure and travel trade. • Design and support data warehouse solutions using Teradata, SQL, Hadoop, Hive, and Spark technologies, including data modelling, ETL development, data marts, reporting layers, and data integration frameworks.
• Conduct data profiling, reconciliation, validation, and root-cause analysis to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory and management reporting requirements. Support SIT, UAT, production deployment, and post-implementation activities.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, risk teams, finance users, and technology teams to deliver regulatory reporting solutions and other governance initiatives within the banking sector.
• Drive data architecture and analytics initiatives by leveraging advanced SQL, Python, UNIX Shell Scripting, and database technologies (Teradata, Oracle, PostgreSQL) to optimize reporting performance, enhance data governance, and support strategic business decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, including subcontractor works, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Monitor site progress regularly, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinate and manage manpower deployment, material planning, ordering, and delivery to support smooth project execution.
• Ensure all construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and relevant authority requirements.
• Prepare and submit monthly progress reports for internal management, clients, and consultants, highlighting project milestones, achievements, and key challenges.
• Compile weekly site progress reports and prepare necessary project submissions in a timely manner.
• Attend site meetings, coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and relevant stakeholders to resolve site issues effectively.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and overall site management to achieve project objectives.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline recognized by the Professional Engineers (PE) Board, or equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience in the construction industry.
• Proven experience in managing projects of similar scale, nature, and complexity, particularly in building works.
• Prior hands-on experience in construction site supervision and coordination.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project coordination, and quality control procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
