About the Role

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our project team for a major building and infrastructure project located on Penang Island.

This is a site-based position. You will play an important role in coordinating construction activities and assisting in the successful delivery of the project in accordance with approved drawings, construction programme, quality requirements, and safety requirements.

This role requires close coordination with the management team, consultants, and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Architecture, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, or other related construction / engineering disciplines.

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in building construction, infrastructure works, M&E works, site coordination, or project engineering.

• Experience in site coordination, subcontractor management, consultant coordination, drawing coordination, or construction progress follow-up.

• Experience in reviewing construction drawings / shop drawings, coordinating site works, preparing or assisting in method statements, and arranging site inspections will be an advantage.

• Familiar with construction processes, construction methods, building materials, site quality requirements, and safety management requirements.

• Menyediakan ulasan prestasi berkala untuk semua Perancang pelaporan & laluan kerjaya.
• Semak semua dasar dan prosedur yang berkaitan (seperti yang dimulakan dan disemak semula) dengan ahli jabatan, Bimbing mereka mengenai arahan khusus kepada tugasan mereka. Pastikan pemahaman semua orang, serta sokongan dan pematuhan berterusan mereka.
• Mengurus dan mendapatkan, memantau dan menyemak semula matlamat dan objektif sel kerja secara berterusan. Sentiasa mengekalkan pemahaman yang jelas tentang kontrak pelanggan dan perjanjian liabiliti.
• Meningkatkan kecekapan, ketepatan dan keberkesanan fungsi perancangan secara berterusan untuk mengurangkan kos keseluruhan pengurusan bahan.
• Menguatkuasakan perintah "Peraturan Jalan Raya" Korporat, kepercayaan budaya dan dasar serta prosedur Operasi Korporat.
• Menyokong pembangunan dan pelaksanaan strategi dan sistem perancangan standard syarikat.
• Membangunkan keupayaan dengan menerima dan menyelesaikan semua projek khas tambahan yang dianggap perlu oleh Pemimpin

• Mempunyai pengetahuan mendalam tentang perancangan menyeluruh.
• Mempunyai pengetahuan yang mendalam dan mematuhi dasar dan prosedur syarikat.

• Mengekalkan budi bicara dan kerahsiaan dalam isu-isu kakitangan dan perniagaan pada setiap masa.

KEPERLUAN PENDIDIKAN & PENGALAMAN:

• Ijazah Profesional dalam mana-mana disiplin dengan sekurang-kurangnya 10 tahun pengalaman dalam bidang Perancangan. Kelebihan tambahan dalam Pembelian dan Kawalan Inventori dan persekitaran pembuatan yang serupa.
• Kemahiran yang sangat kukuh dengan rekod prestasi yang terbukti dalam komunikasi, kepimpinan, analisis perniagaan, pembangunan proses, pentadbiran dan pengurusan perubahan diperlukan. Perhatian terhadap perincian dan keupayaan untuk bekerjasama dengan baik dengan pasukan juga diperlukan.
• Kebolehan bekerja di bawah tekanan dengan berkesan dan profesional, dalam persekitaran berpasukan, dengan perubahan tarikh akhir dan keutamaan yang kerap.
