RESPONSIBILITIES

THE ROLE: Executive/Senior Executive, Communications & Editorial

The Executive/Senior Executive, Communications & Editorial role supports Kaplan Singapore's brand positioning by developing clear, engaging and compliant content across owned, earned and paid channels. The role safeguards brand consistency, identifies and executes storytelling opportunities, supports PR and corporate events, coordinates interviews, monitors media opportunities and works with internal stakeholders to meet communication needs aligned with marketing, recruitment and institutional objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Communications

• A brand advocate for Kaplan Singapore to consistently communicate its value proposition across all owned, earned and paid media channels
• Identify leads for stories and implement them to tell the Kaplan brand story including those useful for marketing communications that will benefit the organization and strengthen its brand positioning
• A brand guardian that supports senior team members in overseeing the accurate and consistent application of the brand (in written form) across all marketing and communication channels.
• Develop engaging and timely content for the Kaplan brand for all owned media (eg. social media, website, campus environments) and earned media (eg. TV, press) through written posts, write-ups, videos and others related, to build awareness and brand affinity with our audience and drive interest to convert them. This includes, occasionally, working with external creative agencies to produce the content.
• Organizing and coordinating interviews for stories with guest speakers, students, lecturers and others
• Independently manage corporate events and PR activities (eg. Kaplan partnership events, launch of a corporate initiatives) from planning to implementation including the need to research, write and distribute media releases
• Creative use of owned and earned channels to maximize organization's propositions and positive exposure
• Liaising and providing support to internal stakeholders relating to Communication needs with alignment to the Kaplan brand and tone.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues across all levels and across the different departments
• Monitor media daily for newsworthy information for sharing and for opportunities useful in promoting the organization

Risk Management and Compliance

• Ensure compliance of marketing and communication materials with SSG regulatory guidelines for assigned portfolios.

Support any other tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Head of Department

• Assist in ad hoc projects that align with the institution's broader marketing and recruitment objectives.
• Respond promptly to any last-minute content needs or adjustments, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to meet evolving marketing goals.

Essential

• Possess at least a Diploma in Public Relations and Communications
• Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience with proven experience as PR executive
• Proven experience in coordinating and managing effective PR campaigns through the various channels
• Solid knowledge in social media (Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin)
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills

Position Summary

The Call Centre Executive ensures that all communications relating to the hotel both external and internal are actioned efficiently in a professional and courteous manner and in line with Hilton and the hotel policies and procedures during the assigned shift.

What will I be doing?

As the Call Centre Executive, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Actively seeking verbal feedback from customers and team members at every opportunity.
• Agree on and implement actions to make improvements to customer service.
• Promote Hilton Honors and its associated benefits to guests who are not already enrolled in the program, ensuring that existing Hilton Honors members receive personal and professional service that recognizes them as important guests and that their benefits are received.
• Maximize sales and revenue for the hotel by maintaining a sales attitude at all times.
• Positively deal with and learn from customers’ complaints and comments with follow-up and feedback to the related Communications Manager / Duty Manager.
• Follow-up with guests to ensure satisfaction with problem resolution (service recovery).
• Maintain guest history records to assist with returning guests.
• Make sure all guest requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively while assisting on the floor during peak periods each day.
• Be available to assist on duty in the hotels during any busy days or special events.
• Be proactive towards guests, assist them with any reasonable requests, and train all team members to anticipate guests’ needs.
• Handle all internal and external guest enquiries promptly with minimal delay, directing them to the correct parties with which they wish to speak to and provide information where necessary.
• Effectively manage all hotel communications, telephone, fax, mail, in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner, ensuring that guests feel welcome when they contact the hotel.
• Be up to date with information on facilities, attractions, places of interests, sights and activities in and around the hotel.
• Handle and deliver all messages in a private and confidential manner, ensuring privacy for guests and ensure that the messages are received and delivered clearly, accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that we provide on time wake-up call services for hotel guests.
• Knowledgeable of Hilton’s departmental standards and run the Telecommunication Centre as a Communications Centre according to brand standards, explaining standards to the team, assess their performance against these standards and monitor standards through regular standards review checks.
• Familiar with hotel operating system especially OnQ PM, Kipsu, HotSOS, PBX, table management system and Micros system.
• Take on an active role in the team by being kind, cooperative, and helpful and never forgetting the person behind the guest.
• Record all equipment and be familiar with the system and functions, resuming the role as the person in charge of the section during the absence of the Communications Manager.
• Describe, assign and delegate duties and authorities for the operation of the department at all times.
• Knowledgeable of hotel and departmental KPIs especially SALT and Hilton Honors enrolment. Assisting Communications Manager to drive result to the maximum.
• Plan and coordinate with the team, ensure adequate resources are available.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure request is followed-up and ensures follow-up procedures are maintained.
• Communicate effectively with the F&B and Culinary teams to ensure in-room dining quality is as per hotel standard.
• Be completely familiar with all emergency procedures and the fire system, ensuring that all Communications team members are familiar with the procedures too.
• Ensure handovers information to the next shift.
• Maintain in-depth technical knowledge and skills required for the job.
• Maintain guest histories to assist with returning guests.
• Attend and participate in regular operational and hotel meetings.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as requested by the Communications Manager.
• Understand the goals of the hotel and the department’s role in achieving them, communicating the goals to the team.
• Understand departmental objectives for self and team, and work together to achieve the goal accordingly.
• Keep the team up to date about departmental, hotel and company activities through regular communication meetings and memos including special events and promotions in the restaurants and bars.
• Be aware of potential highs and lows in the business.
• Complete regular financial and operating reports, as required or requested by the Communications Manager.
• Follow company control procedures, controlling costs without compromising standards.
• Keep self up to date and Introduce appropriate product knowledge courses to the team.
• Understand relevant Health & Safety legislations and their implications on the department’s operation.
• Communicate to the team their responsibilities within Health & Safety, ensuring that safe and healthy working practices are implemented at all times.
• Maintain personal presentation to hotel and Hilton standards.
• Ensure that all reporting and servicing deadlines are met on a timely basis.
• Adhere to the hotel’s security and emergency policies and procedures.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

About the Role

GenInnov is seeking an experienced and polished Senior Business Development & Investor Relations Analyst to support the firm’s growth in full compliance with applicable MAS regulations. This role spans investor engagement through licensed and permissible channels, distributor relationship management, pre-onboarding due diligence, KYC/AML checks, and maintenance of the systems and platforms used to communicate with investors. The candidate will represent GenInnov professionally across all touchpoints, with a strong eye for visual quality in all investor-facing materials.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Investor Engagement

•     Build and manage relationships with accredited investors, family offices, and institutional counterparts through permissible channels, licensed intermediaries, and referral networks in full compliance with MAS regulations

•     Represent GenInnov at industry events and introductory meetings; maintain a structured investor pipeline using CRM tools with regular reporting to senior management

•     Maintain proactive communication with existing investors, coordinating timely distribution of fund updates, performance reports, and investor correspondence

Company & Fund Materials

•     Prepare visually polished presentations, company profiles, fund fact sheets, and briefing documents on GenInnov’s investment philosophy, fund strategies, and performance for use in appropriate meetings

•     Ensure all investor-facing materials are compliance-approved before use; respond to due diligence questionnaires from investors and distributors

Distributor Relationship Management

•     Act as primary liaison with licensed distributors promoting or distributing GenInnov’s funds; equip them with accurate, up-to-date materials and ensure messaging aligns with compliance standards

•     Monitor distributor performance and engagement; evaluate new distribution partnerships in line with regulatory requirements and strategic objectives

Investor Pre-Checks, KYC/AML & Onboarding

•     Conduct pre-onboarding checks including accreditation verification and suitability assessment; collect and process KYC/AML documentation per MAS requirements

•     Liaise with compliance and legal to ensure documentation is complete before account activation; maintain accurate investor records and flag compliance gaps promptly

Systems, Website & Communications

•     Operate internal onboarding and CRM systems; manage external communication platforms to ensure investor correspondence is consistent, compliant, and professionally presented

•     Work with the technology team to maintain and update the company website and internal systems used for external communications, ensuring accuracy, quality, and reliability at all times

Qualifications & Experience

•     Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are strongly preferred

•     Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline; CFA, CAIA, or CMAS designation is an advantage

•     5to 7 years of experience in investor relations, business development, or fund distribution within asset management, wealth management, or financial services

•     Proven experience working with licensed distributors; strong knowledge of MAS regulations governing fund solicitation, distribution, and investor communications

•     Hands-on KYC/AML experience in a regulated financial services environment; familiarity with onboarding systems and CRM platforms

About The Opportunity
