Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for the position of Research Assistant in the Department of Computer Science, School of Computing (SoC). SoC is strongly committed to research excellence in all its dimensions: Searching for fundamental results and insights, developing novel computational solutions to a wide range of applications, building largescale experimental systems, developing theories and policies for effective management of information systems in organizations, and improving the well-being of society. We seek to play an active role both internationally and locally in the core and emerging areas of Computer Science and Information Systems.

Our research will focus on the design and implementation of next-generation AI accelerators, including the development of new architecture designs (dataflow designs), reuse patterns, caching and the development of the infrastructure of the system needed to support the acceleration of AI platforms.

The Research Assistant will be responsible for working closely with the Principal Investigator and lab members on one or more research projects. He/she should possess experience or interest in at least one of the following research areas:

• Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
• Hardware Design, Circuits and Systems
• Algorithms
• Programming Languages & Software Engineering

Job Description

The job holder will assist with provide data management, analytical and reporting support for research project.

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Clean and document survey datasets to ensure data accuracy, consistency and readiness for analysis
• Conduct predictive analysis using statistical and analytical methods to identify patterns, trends and insights from survey data
• Develop data visualisations, reporting outputs to communicate survey findings
• Prepare technical documentation and analytical reports and provide support in the interpretation and presentation of survey results for research purpose.

Qualifications

• Proficient in statistical and analytical software

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet project datelines in a research environment

Job Summary

You will ensure accurate and timely processing of customer orders while supporting warehouse operations including picking, packing, loading, unloading, and inventory management to maintain product quality and workplace order.
