Tanggungjawab Utama

1. Pengurusan Acara

• Membantu dalam perancangan, penyelarasan dan pelaksanaan acara pemasaran luar talian, termasuk pameran bergerak, pop timbul dan pengaktifan
• Berhubung dengan vendor, rakan kongsi dan pasukan dalaman untuk memastikan operasi acara berjalan lancar dan berkesan

2. Penciptaan Kandungan & Sokongan Kreatif

• Menyokong pembangunan bahan pemasaran, termasuk karya seni asas dan aset visual
• Bekerjasama rapat dengan pereka untuk memberi taklimat, menyemak dan memperhalusi bahan kreatif kempen
• Membantu dalam penerbitan video, termasuk penulisan skrip, penggambaran, dan penyuntingan

3. Pengurusan Media Sosial

• Urus dan jadualkan siaran media sosial merentasi platform (cth., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)

Keperluan & Kelayakan

Job Summary

As part of Plixstar’s marketing initiatives, we are seeking a Marketing Intern to support brand growth and promote our eco-friendly products. You will assist in managing social media and website platforms, create engaging digital content, and support marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility and connect with our audience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Event Management

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of offline marketing events, including roadshows, pop-ups, and activations
• Liaise with vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth and effective event operations

2. Content Creation & Creative Support

• Support the development of marketing materials, including basic artwork and visual assets
• Work closely with designers to brief, review, and refine campaign creatives
• Assist in video production, including scriptwriting, shooting, and editing

3. Social Media Management

• Manage and schedule social media postings across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
• Assist in writing captions, hashtags, and content for social media and marketing campaigns
• Monitor social media engagement and prepare basic performance reports

4. Campaign Execution & Brand Management

• Support the execution of online marketing campaigns, including promotions, product launches, and bundles
• Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all marketing channels

5. Research & General Support

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis as required
• Assist with ad-hoc marketing tasks and projects assigned by the team

Requirements & Qualifications

• Candidates must possess or currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration , International Business, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), and basic video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar).

About the Position 

WorldFish is seeking to engage an Intern (Facilities Management) who will support the Facilities team in day-to-day facilities operations, including preventive maintenance coordination, vendor supervision, and record keeping ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained workplace.

At the same time, this internship is designed to provide structured learning and practical exposure to facilities management practices, enabling the intern to develop technical, analytical, and coordination skills within a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and updating the asset register, including tagging, classification, and documentation, while gaining understanding of asset lifecycle management.
• Support the collection and recording of utility consumption data (e.g., electricity, water) and assist in preparing basic monthly summaries to understand usage trends.
• Assist in logging, tracking, and closing work orders, gaining exposure to facilities workflows, response timelines, and service coordination.
• Support coordination of vendors and contractors, including scheduling, site access, and monitoring work progress, while learning basic contract and service management practices.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks under supervision, focusing on understanding safety procedures, tools, and standard maintenance practices.
• Support workspace setup, furniture coordination, and updating layout records to understand space utilization and planning.
• Assist in routine safety checks and reporting, developing awareness of workplace safety standards and compliance requirements.

This job might be for you if you have the below skills and qualifications:  

• The candidate will either have obtained or currently be working towards obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Building Services / Building Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Property / Estate Management or other related disciplines.
• Candidates pursuing relevant coursework or certifications may also be considered.
• Basic understanding of Facilities Management, Building Services, or Engineering principles.
• Foundational knowledge in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Maintenance concepts.
• Strong interest in operations, maintenance systems, and workplace safety practices.
• Ability to learn hands-on technical tasks under supervision.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with internal teams and vendors.
• Willingness to develop practical skills in a structured facilities environment.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills with attention to detail.

• This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in an international research environment.
• The intern will benefit from close interaction with scientists and technical staff, building both technical and professional skills.
• A monthly stipend will be provided.

Location and Duration

The successful interns will be based at WorldFish Headquarters in Penang, Malaysia. The internship will run for a duration of up to 5½ months. This opportunity is open exclusively to Malaysian applicants. Interviews are expected to take place as soon as possible and only shortlisted candidates will be notified and invited to attend.

Key Responsibilities:

International Assignment Management:

• Contract Preparation: Draft, review, and finalize expat employment contracts.
• Checklist Development & Management: Create, maintain, and manage comprehensive inbound and outbound checklists for international assignees, covering pre-assignment, during assignment, and repatriation phases (e.g., visa/immigration, relocation, housing, benefits, tax, payroll, cultural training).
• Document Compilation: Compile, organize, and submit all necessary documentation for visa applications, work permits, and other expat-related requirements, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

• Ad-Hoc: i.e. Reporting: Prepare and present various reports related to international assignments, operational metrics, and project progress to management.

Operational Improvement & Documentation:

• Process Improvement: Identify, analyze, and propose improvements to existing operational processes within international assignments and other relevant HR/operations functions.
• Work Instruction Updates: Collaborate with stakeholders to update and create clear, concise work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for international assignment processes, ensuring they reflect current best practices and company policies.

• Support the development of a full-stack web application for capturing and viewing production lot test results.
