Position Overview：

As a Sales Engineer, you will serve as a key communication bridge between our Malaysia team and U.S. retail customers as well as the U.S. sales team. What You'll Be Doing:

Customer Communication & Order Management

• Communicate with U.S. retail customers via email to clarify product pricing, specifications, and requirements.
• Receive and enter customer orders into the system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Convey customer requirements to the R&D team and assist in product design or modification.
• Follow up on customer feedback and complaints to ensure timely resolution.

Internal Coordination & Process Follow-up

Sales Support

Your Background & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in any discipline.
• More than 1 year of experience in sales support, order management, or related roles; candidates with both engineering and business backgrounds are preferred.

The successful candidate will work with Professor Zhou Weibiao on nutritional profile analysis and in vitro digestion of food materials under a project on alternative proteins, funded by the Singapore Food Story R&D Programme 2.0.

The main responsibilities of the position include:
The candidate shall join a multidisciplinary team at NUS to support the development of plant-based meat products with improved digestibility, nutritional quality, and functionality. This position will focus on establishing an advanced in vitro digestion approach to evaluate protein digestibility and conduct comprehensive nutritional profile analysis of alternative protein products.

In addition, he/she will help supervise final year undergraduate projects.

Qualifications

Team structure

This role would suit someone who is keen on being involved in the full range of business development activities.
