The Role

As a Senior Engineer for Loyalty, you will play a key part in running applications independently and driving project execution. You’ll work closely within the team and often outside the team, mentoring other engineers, and driving engineering excellence. Who You Are

• Strong technical background, prior experience in leading project delivery related to of large-scale, high-throughput distributed systems on the Cloud. What you’ll do

As a Staff Engineer on the Risk Platform, you will be a senior technical leader and hands-on builder. You’ll own critical parts of our real-time detection platform and client-facing risk and fraud management products, setting the technical direction and raising the engineering bar while working closely with your manager and cross-functional partners.

You will:

• Lead the technical direction of core risk services, including real-time detection, decision engines, and risk tooling, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient under high throughput and low-latency constraints.

Who you are

We’re looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications below. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but not strictly required.

Minimum qualifications

• 7+ years of back-end engineering experience, including substantial time owning and operating complex, distributed systems in production.

• Deep experience in risk, fraud, or fintech systems (e.g., payments, banking, trading, or similar high-stakes domains where correctness and reliability are critical).

Responsibilities:

• Design, development, testing and support of firmware/embedded software applications for microcontroller based wireless systems.
• Develop software communication protocols for wireless communication systems
• Drive technology/development projects in all phrases from specification to release.
• Read or understand electronics schematic and system design.
• Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure project delivery on time.
• Define and create product software specification including software architecture, feature descriptions and applications notes of the system
• Research technical issues and/or opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Participate in ad hoc software projects and assignments as required

Requirements:

• Degree in Electronic/Electrical/Computer Engineering/Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in real time embedded system including experience in Bluetooth related firmware/software development.
• Strong C/C++ language knowledge is a must
• Experience with Arm, Cortex based microcontroller and Airoha Bluetooth chipset is required
• Strong Knowledge of the communication transport protocol like I2C, SPI, UART and USB
• Understanding of the Bluetooth protocol and stack is a plus.
• Familiarity with DSP programming is an added advantage
• Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Able to manage one's own time efficiently

nSearch Global is hiring a Software Architect / Technical Lead to join as a core founding member of our HR tech product team. You will own the technical architecture, lead the build, and shape our product as it moves from MVP into production.

This is a hands-on senior engineering role. You will work directly with the founder, our engineering team, and HR domain experts to make critical technical decisions, set engineering standards, and steer the technical roadmap. The role is full-stack and central to everything we ship.

This is not a pre-sales or enterprise architecture advisory role. We are looking for someone who builds.

What you will do

Technical architecture and engineering leadership

• Own the technical architecture of the platform end to end across frontend, backend, data, and integration layers
• Lead design decisions on multi-tenancy, scalability, performance, hosting, and data residency
• Set engineering standards for code quality, security, testing, and documentation, and guide the team in applying them
• Review code, weigh in on architecture trade-offs, and unblock the team on technical decisions
• Drive enterprise readiness including SOC2 alignment, audit logging, role-based access, and security posture suitable for enterprise and government clients
• Work directly with our offshore engineering team on prioritisation, technical direction, and delivery

System integration and platform architecture

• Define and maintain an integration roadmap across ATS, HRIS, payroll, onboarding, CRM, analytics, and identity systems
• Design integration patterns using REST APIs, web services, webhooks, middleware, ETL, or SFTP where appropriate
• Drive enterprise identity requirements such as SSO (SAML or OIDC), user provisioning (SCIM is a plus), role-based access control, and audit logs

Testing, UAT, and release readiness

• Plan and coordinate workflow-based UAT with internal users and pilot customers, with clear scenarios and acceptance criteria
• Establish regression testing and release management practices that scale as we onboard more customers

Product mindset

• Bring a product mindset to technical decisions, thinking beyond MVP toward productisation, scalability, and long-term maintainability
• Partner with the founder on what is core product, what is paid implementation, and what is custom work, and protect that line as we grow

What we are looking for

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7 to 10 years of experience in software engineering and architecture
• Demonstrated experience leading the technical architecture of an enterprise product or SaaS platform end to end
• Strong full-stack background with the ability to write code, review code, and guide architecture decisions across frontend, backend services, databases, and cloud fundamentals
• Hands-on experience integrating enterprise systems using APIs, web services, or middleware, ideally across ATS, HRIS, payroll, CRM, analytics, or identity systems
• Comfortable working with offshore engineering partners and across multiple time zones
• Practical experience with system testing, UAT coordination, regression testing, and release management for enterprise systems
