RESPONSIBILITIES

The Programme Executive (Outreach and Engagement) works with their assigned centres to execute programmes to facilitate the interactions and engagement between the community and the clients/caregivers. He/ she works with the community partners and volunteers for these outreach and engagement programmes and guides the centre and volunteers in executing the programme activities. He/she also collaborates and establishes relationships with volunteers, grassroots organisations, and community partners to fulfil MINDS' vision of outreach and serving the unserved and underserved segment of the ID population in Singapore through the centre's operations. The Youth Development Centre (YDC) will provide Youth Mental Health programmes which include a drop-in centre service for at-risk youths from low to middle-income families, psychoeducation and therapeutic group work sessions for youth in schools and their families struggling with mental health, and other preventive and remedial community programmes aimed at helping youth and families cope with mental health issues. We also provide specialized supervised access services for vulnerable families.

The Programme Executive would need to plan, implement, facilitate and evaluate all programmes in YDC, conduct volunteer management and community need assessment to measure and enhance programme relevance and effectiveness to bring about quality service and standards.

We are looking for someone with a "Can Do" spirit who has the ability to pioneer new ground, creative in problem solving, and with a passion for making a difference the lives of vulnerable youth and families. It will be a bonus if you have experience working with child protection risks and/or mental health issues.


MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drop in:

1. Ensure smooth running of daily operations of YDC, from planning to execution of current and new programmes and activities that will develop youths' social, emotional and psychological competencies.

2. To connect with youths, build positive relationships and contribute to the holistic development of youths.

3. Work with key stakeholders and volunteers to implement and conduct services for youths and their families.

4. Work with youth and their families in accordance with YDC approved settings, maintaining professional and purposeful relationships, displaying a sound understanding of equality, respect, and valuing individuals' diversity.


Youth Development Programmes:

5. To plan, develop and execute youth mental health programmes and services in the community, partnering schools, FSCs, hospitals, etc.

6. To conduct periodic needs and outcome assessments to evaluate the effectiveness and relevance of key programmes.

7. To engage the various stakeholders working with the youth and their families


Professional Development:

8. Maintain professional knowledge, ethics and skills, and initiate personal responsibility for self-development and training.

9. Keep up to date with the current trends of the social service sector as well as the needs of vulnerable youths and their families.


Administration:

10. Provide professional support to access services by undertaking administrative tasks, sharing information and responding to queries.

11. Ensure facilities and logistics needs of the centre and office are well taken care.

12. Ensure efficient use of resources and work within approved budgets for all access services activities and services.

13. To conduct administrative tasks such as case recordings, prepare presentations and data for reports, and in maintaining the facilities of YDC.

14. Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required of you by the management team.

Diploma or Degree in Psychology, social work or any other relevant discipline from an accredited institution.

Job Requirements

• Experience with working with youth mental health preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience working with youth.
• Flexible and open to new initiatives as and when YDC incubates a new service.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Senior Executive to provide end-to-end administrative, scheduling, conference logistics, and communications support to the Programme Chair (PC) of Healthy Longevity Translational Research Programme. The role requires strong ownership, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with discretion and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

A) Scheduling & Meeting Logistics

• Coordinate and manage the PC’s meetings, appointments and calls, including scheduling/rescheduling across multiple stakeholders while factoring priorities, travel time, meeting purpose, and attendees’ preferences.
• Take ownership to ensure meetings run smoothly by independently identifying required actions and executing them (e.g., sending Zoom links, venue booking, transport arrangements, meeting room setup, A/V coordination, and guest reception when needed).
• Maintain and update the PC’s calendar accurately, ensuring there are no conflicts or double bookings.
• Triage and prioritise emails, flag urgent items, maintain a record of key email threads, and recommend timely follow-ups.

B) Conferences & Event Support

• Support conference/seminar/workshop registrations and related administrative requirements.
• Assist with abstract submission (including proposing presentation titles and abstracts), required documentation, and coordination with event hosts/organisers.
• Manage travel arrangements (flights, accommodation, transfers, visas where required) in accordance with preferences and budget constraints, including liaising with NUS-appointed travel agents for itineraries/quotations, raising travel requests in NUS Concur, securing approvals, and following through on ticket issuance.
• Prepare, submit, and track financial claims and reimbursements for travel and other work-related expenses.

C) Communication & Outreach Support

• Respond to basic enquiries from students, collaborators, and external parties on behalf of the PC when appropriate.
• Assist in preparing reports/proposals, meeting papers, presentation slides, speeches, and other communication materials.
• Support the PC in organising meeting minutes, analysing data, and synthesising useful information to strengthen the programme’s research relevance, international visibility, and public image (including engagement with prospective donors and partner universities).

Scope of the role

Coordinate the content and programming line-up for ourflagship radio show and will report to the Program Director. The producer actsas the critical link between guests, presenters, technical, editorial and programming support.

 Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver excellent, original radio programming and daily rundown from Monday to Friday in close cooperation with Programming Director and MDT & EDT team, including talk-set time management, ability to know and lookout for pitfalls, tech difficulties or dangerous content, proof-reading all content, and maintaining and updating story arcs of MDT and EDT team
• Be completely familiar with show format/concept/ideology/humor
• Brainstorm with MDT and EDT team regarding topics/story ideas/guests, to generate content and ideas for benchmarks
• Manage a calendar, including topics where a follow up is required (e.g., Anniversaries, including forward thinking grid planning for topics and segments)
• Create, Collect and Contribute to and make use of an archive of audio resources which can be re-used, whether externally or from the team
