Role & Responsibilities

●       Adhere to assigned schedule and ensure work tasks arecompleted on time.

●       Transporting workers and goods to sites.

●       Collecting and disposing of rubbish from work sites.

●       Safely securing heavy loads and large goods for transport.

●       Organizing the most efficient route from pickup point to drop off point.

●       Organizing multiple drop-offs and deliveries in each working day.

●       Support landscape and hydroculture maintenance work.

●       Upkeep assigned company vehicle: routine checking of engine; & general cleanliness.

●       Ensuring vehicles are mechanically sound and legally roadworthy.

●       Immediately complete and submit accident reports (e.g. injuries) to your manager.

●       Supervising and assisting with the loading and unloading of deliveries into the lorry.

●       Complying with all LTA and in-house regulations and rule.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Salary: SGD 2,300-3,300 (Basic) + AWS

We are looking for a Logistics Assistant to support our logistics and transportation operations. The successful candidate will handle customer enquiries, coordinate job requirements, and ensure smooth execution of delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Attend to customer enquiries and ensure accurate capture of job requirements for all orders.    

2. Maintain good working relationship with customers.     

3.  Advise customers on delivery schedules and inventory-related matters.      

4. Communicate customer requirements to the Traffic Controller to ensure smooth job execution.     

5. Create trucking jobs and monitor their progress to ensure deadlines are met.       

6. Source potential hauliers to facilitate the efficient reuse of import containers.       

7. Provide timely updates to customers regarding shipment status and any delays.        

8. Provide after-hours support for customer enquiries when required.        

9. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Requirements:

• Good communication and coordination skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Candidates with prior experience in logistics, transportation, or customer service will have an added advantage.

The import Customer Service Assistant Manager supports the leadership of the Airfreight Customer Service team, ensuring smooth end-to-end import operations. The ideal candidate requires strong knowledge of import workflows and the ability to supervise staff handling all stages of the import process, from shipment receipt to delivery and billing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Supervision: Assist in leading, coaching, and supporting the Airfreight Import Customer Service team, ensuring staff manage end-to-end import processes efficiently.

• Operational Oversight: Monitor daily import activities, including shipment documentation, coordination with carriers, customs compliance, billing, and job closure. Ensure adherence to established processes and service standards.

• Process Support & Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks, assist in implementing process improvements, and support initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency.

• Performance Monitoring: Track team performance against SLAs and KPIs, provide feedback, and escalate issues to the Manager as needed.

• Customer Service Support: Handle complex import-related customer inquiries and serve as a point of escalation for service issues when required.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Airfreight Operations, Customs, and other departments to ensure smooth execution of import shipments.

• Policy & Procedure Compliance: Support the development and implementation of import customer service policies and ensure staff compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Supervisory experience in airfreight import customer service or operations.
• Strong understanding of airfreight import processes, documentation, and customs requirements.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to support operational improvements.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to manage team and customer interactions.
• Ability to motivate staff and ensure consistent service quality.
• Previous hands-on experience using Cargowise system is preferred.
