Job Summary

Altuscloud is seeking a Data Center Sourcing Manager to support the sourcing and procurement of colocation capacity for our cloud infrastructure platform. This role will be responsible for identifying suitable data center partners, conducting technical and commercial evaluations, and supporting vendor selection and contract negotiations to secure reliable and cost-effective infrastructure capacity.

The successful candidate will work closely with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Commercial teams to support the Company's regional growth and expansion plans.

Key Responsibilities

Data Center Sourcing & Procurement

• Support the development and execution of data center sourcing strategies to meet business growth requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and engage potential colocation providers and infrastructure partners.
• Conduct technical and commercial assessments of data center facilities and service offerings.
• Support capacity planning activities and assist in securing suitable colocation space, power, and connectivity resources.
• Maintain relationships with existing and prospective data center providers.

Technical Evaluation

• Perform technical due diligence on data center facilities, including:Power availability and redundancyCooling systems (air-cooled and liquid-cooled environments)Network connectivity and carrier ecosystemSecurity, operational processes, and facility resilience
• Work with internal technical teams to validate infrastructure requirements and deployment feasibility.
• Assist in evaluating solutions for high-density compute environments.

Vendor Management & Commercial Support

• Prepare and manage Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and vendor evaluation processes.
• Support commercial discussions and contract negotiations with data center operators and service providers.
• Review pricing structures, service level agreements (SLAs), and commercial terms.
• Coordinate internal approvals and maintain procurement documentation.

Market Research & Industry Analysis

• Monitor market developments, pricing trends, and capacity availability across key regions.
• Conduct competitive and market analysis to support sourcing decisions.
• Provide insights and recommendations on emerging data center technologies and infrastructure trends.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Engineering, Infrastructure, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Business teams throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
• Support contract review and vendor onboarding processes.
• Participate in internal planning and reporting activities related to infrastructure expansion projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in data center sourcing, colocation procurement, infrastructure procurement, vendor management, or related fields.
• Experience evaluating or procuring data center capacity, including colocation space, power, cooling, and connectivity services.
• Good understanding of data center infrastructure concepts, including power density, cooling technologies, redundancy models, and networking fundamentals.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and commercial teams.
• Strong organizational and project coordination capabilities.
• Willingness to undertake occasional regional travel when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting cloud infrastructure, AI infrastructure, high-performance computing (HPC), or related technology environments.
• Exposure to data center providers and infrastructure markets in Singapore, APAC, or other international regions.
• Familiarity with high-density rack deployments and advanced cooling technologies.
• Experience working in a fast-growing technology, cloud, or infrastructure-related business environment.

Purpose

This role’s key purpose is to drive the Client Engagement performance in SEA, for both client retention, re-activation and acquisition objectives. This role will act as regional coordinator of resources and key stake holders with the aim to plan and implement a consistent and commercially impactful customer strategy, aligned with the global strategy. Budgeting and cost oversight for each brand’s loyalty budget including gifting, experiences and festivity moments including the measurement and tracking of ROI

RESPONSIBILITIES :

CLIENTELING CULTURE

• Champion clienteling behaviors and ways of working to drive a client centric business: relationship building, pro-active outreach with existing clients and prospects, head to toe styling, working by appointment
• Elevate all client experiences in stores and out of stores, ensuring brand guidelines are met
• Leverage all clienteling tools to achieve results: clienteling app, client development plans, local experiences
• Define action plans to improve the recruitment and onboarding of new clients Enhancing Client Experiences/ Client Events
• Responsible for client engagement event planning, design, production, and overall execution including onsite operation
• Participate in developing sophisticated and unmissable experiences inside the client activation journey
• Propose ideas to improve provided services and understand technical files to improve the event quality
• Timely-mannered communication and flexibility with local agencies to deliver the guidelines and mission.

CRM & ANALYTICS

• Define relevant initiatives to acquire new data and activate current clients, manage assigned budgets, execute their implementation, measure the ROI of each action
• Manage the regional client database: ensure the accuracy and quality in data capture in the region. Set objectives on quantitative and qualitative data collection.

CLIENT ENGAGEMENT PERFORMANCE

• Define regional targets for individual stores
• Able to monitor and also cultivate culture of clienteling at retail stores.
• Report on market performance and customer retention strategy plans, providing insight to unlock specific opportunities by store and client segment
• Work with retail network on strategy and execution of customer plans to reach top client growth objectives
• Interpret on a monthly basis key top customers retention opportunities and define appropriate action plans

CUSTOMER STRATEGY & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

• In line with the global and regional strategy, develop yearly, quarterly and monthly regional plans to be executed through retail network
• Communicate to regional retail management and store managers key CRM focuses and actions
• In partnership with the store managers, define the regional value proposition that would maximise the overall contact strategy, including retail animations, client development plans
• Plan and execute in store and out of store local experiences with the goal to retain top clients and increase loyalty with the brand
• Research and negotiate local opportunities to partner with personal shoppers/stylists, local charities and other targeted and qualitative groups to acquire target luxury audience

• In partnership with Training, define a holistic Client Engagement training plan, looking at on-boarding, ongoing support and ad hoc training

QUALIFICATION

• Extensive experience in Client Engagement in the luxury industry (RTW, LG, Jewelry)
• Experience in hosting clients in a Luxury environment
• Strong CRM skills
• Solid Retail Experience preferred
• Deep knowledge of local market/s
• CRM tools experience
• Project Management Experience

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or Engineering
• At least 7+ years of experience in CRM, business development, strategy, client development
• Excellent communication and client relations skills
• Proven track record of identifying opportunities, designing and implementing strategies to develop business through customer relationships

This role focuses on Contract Manufacturing Strategic Sourcing and Category Management, including market intelligence, sourcing strategy, contracting and negotiation, innovation enablement, should‑cost modeling, CSR audits, and cross‑business synergy realization. Reporting to the Director, EMEA & Asia Operations & Global Direct Category Management, the role is responsible for strategic sourcing outcomes across multiple divisions (e.g., COC, CSM‑AO) and the global Contract Manufacturing category.

The position is accountable for defining and executing end‑to‑end Contract Manufacturing category strategies, covering make or buy analysis, commercial models, supplier footprint design, capacity and risk management, cost competitiveness, and innovation enablement across regions and businesses.

The role interfaces with a broad and senior internal customer base, including Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and Technology leadership, and represents Strategic Sourcing in global, cross‑functional forums requiring strong influence without direct authority.

This role operates as a subject-matter authority for contract manufacturing sourcing, leading complex, high-impact initiatives while influencing senior business, technical, and functional stakeholders. The incumbent translates market intelligence, pricing dynamics, and business strategy into value‑driven sourcing decisions and long-term supplier partnerships.

Position Description:

Category Strategy & Value Creation

• Own and lead global strategies for Contract Manufacturing sub category (sheet glass processing, wafer glass processing, Laboratory Plasticware, Fiber Optics Products, copper products, optical glass processing)
• Align sourcing strategies directly with division and enterprise financial objectives, including margin improvement, cost competitiveness, and working capital optimization.
• Identify, prioritize, and sponsor transformational cost and value opportunities across businesses, driving measurable and sustained results.

Market Intelligence & Commercial Leadership

• Develop and communicate advanced supply intelligence (e.g., should‑cost models, total cost of ownership, cost drivers, and indexing methodologies).

Supplier Strategy & Negotiation

Responsibilities:

Shipment Execution (Core Responsibility)

• Manage import/export shipments across Singapore, Thailand, Australia and Southeast Asia regions.
• Coordinate daily with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PLs to ensure smooth shipment execution
• Track shipments proactively and resolve delays or clearance issues quickly

Customs Compliance & Regulations

• Ensure full compliance with import/export regulations in Singapore, Thailand, and Australia
• Handle temporary imports and re-exports across Asian markets
• Support shipments involving CITES-controlled goods, ensuring proper permits and documentation

Documentation Management

• Prepare and review all shipping documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, COO, permits, etc.)
• Ensure correct HS code usage and alignment with customs requirements
• Maintain accurate and audit-ready records
• CITES license application and handling

Lead Time Management

• Monitor shipment timelines closely and take corrective actions when delays occur
• Work with logistics partners to prioritize urgent shipments and improve transit times
• Provide visibility to internal stakeholders on shipment status

Freight Coordination

• Review and validate freight quotations (air, sea, courier)
• Select appropriate transport modes based on urgency and cost guidelines
• Ensure alignment with agreed rates and service levels

Systems & Reporting

• Execute logistics transactions and maintain data accuracy in SAP S/4HANA
• Track shipment data and support reporting using Excel
• Ensure proper documentation flow between systems and partners

Stakeholder Coordination

• Act as the main point of contact between regional HQ, markets, and external partners
• Coordinate with retail, PR, and merchandise, finance, and supply chain teams to align on shipment priorities

Qualifications:

Experience

• 7-9 years of hands-on experience in import/export operations
• Proven experience managing shipments in Singapore, Thailand, and Australia
• Experience working with external brokers and freight forwarders
• Practical exposure to temporary imports and re-exports in Asia

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of shipping documentation and Incoterms
• Solid understanding of customs clearance processes and compliance requirements
• Ability to read and validate freight quotations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data tracking)
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA (logistics or related modules preferred)

• Experience handling CITES-related shipments
