Purpose and Scope

Provide technical support, performance and process expertise to ensure continued efficient operation, good plant availability, reliability and optimization as a member of the Instrumentation, Control & Electrical (ICE) team.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Technical Support

• Review technical documents.
• Work closely with operations, maintenance, business improvement, safety and procurement teams for improvement projects scoping alignment and execution coordination and review the selection of vendors.
• Review risk analysis on plant and equipment.
• Review the development and implementation of processes for asset integrity management systems.
• Facilitate the provision of discipline engineering support to plant O&M team to resolve issues that arise in the plant requiring expertise beyond the plant level and liaising with the OEMs/ vendors for problem solving. (eg. RCA)
• Formulate strategies for plant integrity and inspection with the maintenance team.
• Verify cross-functional integrity audit findings and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
• Drive equipment reliability and availability reviews to maximise equipment utilisation.
• Provide recommendations for equipment efficiency improvements, including new versus rebuilt equipment, existing versus new technologies and labour versus automation to achieve best value engineering solutions.
• Strategise the use of data analytics across the plant and derive actionable insights for alternative engineering solutions.

Qualification, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field (Mechanical Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering etc)
• Both fresh graduates or candidates with proven experience in power/utilities plant operations and maintenance are welcome to apply
• Experience in handling projects will be an advantage
• Knowledge of reliability methodologies, including FMEA, RCM, and condition-based maintenance
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and best practices
• Proactive in keeping up with new technologies and looking for solutions to optimize plant operations
• Independent with initiatives, resourceful and positive attitude
• Good team player and able to deliver results within tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Assist the Client Relationship Management team with compliance related tasks.
• Handle sensitive client information with utmost discretion and care
• Request for information from clients to complete on-boarding and KYC tasks according to company policies.
• Stay up to date on prevailing industry-relevant regulations and for audits.
• Provide excellent customer support and improve the client experience by minimizing response times, ensuring clients are guided through our on-boarding process seamlessly and without delay.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in English for speaking and writing required.
• Other languages is a plus.
• Previous experience banking and finance KYC compliance and/or customer service experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to customer issues.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Tech-savvy with knowledge of CRM systems and basic computer skills.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Reporting to Senior Manager in Quality department, you will be responsible for, but are not limited to:

• Provide change control oversight for Supplier, Manufacturing, Engineering, Warehouse, Incoming Laboratories and Finished Product Laboratories in Pharm or API plants.
• Provide Quality Operation related impact assessments for change controls.
• Review and approve supplier, manufacturing, warehouse, facilities, utilities and analytical change controls.
• Establish material control for the incoming material and final product release which are impacted by change controls.
• Review and approve validation protocols, reports and other validation related documents for manufacturing equipment’s, HVAC & utility systems, lab equipment.
• Review and approve validation documents in compliance with validation requirements.
• Partner with other site QA and change owner / project lead to complete the change control/project on time.
• Support site management in continuous improvement efforts in streamlining change control practices for efficiency, consistency and compliance, e.g. Accelerate or Hoshin.
• As a subject matter expert, be able to respond to enquiries related to QA and projects and approaches during internal and external audits and inspections, and work on audit responses and follow-up actions as needed.
• Any other duties assigned by the manager.

To be successful in this role, you should have good knowledge on cGMP, GDP and Quality Assurance and change control.  Be passionate about teamwork and knowledge sharing, and proactive on continuous improvement. 
Other pre-requisites and attributes include:

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or related Sciences, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in QA position in pharmaceutical or related industry.
• Good knowledge and understanding of GMP and data integrity requirements. Good coaching, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to actively seek opportunities to continuously improve and simplify processes and procedures.

Job Scope:

Reporting to the Development Team Lead in charge of the project, the test engineer will be working with the business requirement, project, technical, policy and stakeholders’ units to create test objective, test strategies and test cases as well as perform quality testing of the product development and maintenance. The test engineer role plays an important part in ensuring a smooth user experience in Mass Transportation Fare Ticketing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, develop, and maintain detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test strategies, documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.

• Identifying and documenting software defects to ensure quality and functionality, working with developers/engineers to resolve issues, and verifying that the software meets requirements.

• Conduct benchmarking and performance, and end-to-end testing, and analyse test performance metrics, including response times, failure rates, and transaction success rates.

• Work closely with front end developers to address integration and performance of the contactless products.

• Monitor and resolve integration issues, optimizing transaction performance and reliability.

• Perform thorough regression testing when defects are resolved.

• Utilising Artificial Intelligence (AI) as part of the testing regime where possible.

• Document and track test results and defects.

• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in different environment to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Engineering/Electronics Engineering or related discipline.

• Domain knowledge and experience in EMV Contactless Specifications (C-2 to C-8 kernels, Book A, Book B), ISO 14443, ETSI TS 102 221

• Experience in developing and testing with EMV compliant products.

• Experience in testing and troubleshooting contactless card and mobile phone.

• Experience in C, C++, Java and other programming languages.

• Experience in developing test tools and using protocol analysers.

• Experience in web programming on UNIX/LINUX and Windows environment.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven work experience in software quality assurance.

• A good understanding of card clash scenario in Global Mass Transportation Fare Ticketing is a plus.

• Self-starter and can work independently.

Atleast 5-6 years of experience required.

Responsibilities:

• Handling customer quality issues & continuous improvement activities of products & processes.
• Coordinate with quality related issues to follow-up on effective corrective/preventive actions.
• Perform activities such as process optimization, benchmarking through statistical tools/software.
• Handle external audit in accordance to Technical Specifications & ISO standards.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical/Chemistry/Materials Science/Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in servicing customers' quality related issues in semiconductor industry
• Knowledge of DOE & JMP and QC tools (FMEA, SPC and 8D format report writing)
