Requirements:

• Minimum Master’s Degree in electrical engineering, optical engineering or semiconductor physics.
• Hands-on experience in characterization of active and passive integrated photonic devices, including various OO, EO, and OE measurements at DC and AC levels.
• Hands-on experience on optical alignment and electrical probing procedure.
• Experience in test setup development and maintenance, and equipment resourcing.
• Proficiency in programming for instrument control, test automation, large dataset post-processing and statistical analysis.
• Good understanding of guided-wave optical device working principles.
• Background in 3D sensing, Lidar or autonomous navigation is a plus.
• Experience in active organic materials, compound materials and their hybrid integration is a plus.
• Familiarity with semiconductor foundry and subassembly process is a plus.

Job Description

• Manage and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to maintain product standards
• Support new supplier/material qualification and resolve material quality issues
• Implement inspection standards for incoming and outgoing materials
• Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints, and lead corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
• Lead MRB meetings and ensure effective root cause analysis with corrective actions
• Plan and conduct internal/external audits, review findings, and drive continuous improvements
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers on quality-related matters

Requirement

• Min 2 years’ experience in audits and ISO documentation in manufacturing industries
• Familiarity with PFMEA, Control Plans, GR&R, 8D, and 5W problem-solving methodologies

• Manage the full spectrum of Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities, including equipment buy‑off (IBO and CBO) requirements and timely closure of internal and external CARS.

This is a critical site-based role where you will be responsible for managing comprehensive quality assurance activities, ensuring that all engineering and construction standards are met for a major infrastructure enhancement initiative.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will take full ownership of quality surveillance and documentation to ensure the project meets rigorous safety and operational standards.

• Stakeholder Management: Maintain essential communication with the Owner, internal management, and subcontractors regarding all quality-related matters.

• Inspection & Testing: Plan, manage, and oversee all on-site inspections and testing activities to ensure full alignment with project requirements.

• On-Site Surveillance: Conduct regular quality patrols to identify issues, verify compliance, and track the progress of corrective actions.

• Quality Documentation: Manage and prepare comprehensive records, including Inspection & Test Records (ITR), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective Action Reports (CARs), and internal audit findings.

• Audit & Calibration: Support internal audits and maintain an accurate registry of all on-site measuring instruments and calibration records.

• KPI Reporting: Prepare, monitor, and report on Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide regular progress updates to project management and regional headquarters.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background in site-based quality management. 

• Education: Diploma in Engineering or a related technical field. 

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant QA Engineer or QA Manager experience specifically within project sites.

• Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in large-scale E&M (Electrical and Mechanical) transit projects is a significant advantage. 

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a solid understanding of material controlling and technical documentation. 

• Soft Skills: Proven ability to work under pressure, exercise good judgment, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
