Our client is a Manufacturing MNC, one of the leading players in the Oil & Gas sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Procurement Executive to be part of their Procurement team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West – easily accessible.

The Responsible of Buyer are:

• Responsible for tactical sourcing of new parts to new and existing approved vendor list suppliers
• Responsible for price analysis and lead time negotiation with new suppliers
• Responsible for the negotiation to ensure and improve suppliers' price competitiveness, lead-time and on time delivery
• Responsible for RFQ (Request For Quotation)
• Responsible for creating Supplier contracts and negotiating for the terms and maintain Agreements in SAP
• Responsible for vendor management to ensure approved vendors meet the delivery, quality and cost standards
• Responsible to provide customers with solutions and internal cross functional teams, for cost effectiveness

Job Requirements:

• Min Diploma and above
• Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in Oil and Gas / Shipyard industry
• Experience prototype projects is preferred

Job Description & Requirements

1. Material & Equipment Sourcing

• Assist in sourcing and obtaining quotations for construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Compare prices, specifications, and delivery terms from multiple suppliers.

2. Purchase Order Processing

• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) based on approved requisitions.
• Follow up with vendors on order confirmation, delivery schedule, and documentation.

3. Delivery & Inventory Coordination

• Track and monitor deliveries to site; ensure items received are in good condition and match orders.
• Coordinate with store/site team to update inventory records.

4. Supplier Management

• Maintain and update supplier database including contact details, product catalogues, and performance records.
• Assist in evaluating vendor performance (price, quality, reliability, etc.).

5. Documentation & Filing

• Ensure proper filing of all procurement-related documents including PO, DO, invoices, and quotations.
• Maintain accurate records for audit and reporting purposes.

6. Budget & Cost Control Support

• Assist in tracking procurement expenses and comparing with project budgets.
• Highlight any variances or potential cost overruns to the Procurement Officer or Project Manager.

7. Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with internal departments (site, accounts, project team) on material needs and procurement status.
• Follow up with vendors and transporters to resolve delivery or quality issues.

Job Responsibilities

• Stock Management & Inventory Control – conducting inventory checks, and analyzing consumption trends to prevent overstocking and waste.
• Packaging Management – Manage packaging supply needs, place timely orders, and standardize materials across outlets for operational efficiency.
• Supplier Coordination – Maintain supplier data, negotiate pricing and contracts, and ensure smooth procurement by resolving supply issues proactively.
• Cost Control & Budgeting – Monitor procurement expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize purchasing strategies within budget constraints.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance – Ensure all products meet quality and food safety standards, conduct supplier evaluations, and address quality concerns.
• Process Improvement & Reporting – Enhance procurement efficiency, generate reports on purchasing activities, and implement best practices for stock management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing, preferably in the F&B industry.
• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate across departments.
