Skop Kerja Utma

1.Pemasangan & Pentauliahan (Installation & Commissioning)

• Melakukan pemasangan unit baru mesin ais, mesin kopi komersial, dispenser minuman, mesin basuh pinggan mangkuk, dan peralatan F&B lain di lokasi pelanggan (cafe, restoran, hospital, hotel, dll.).
• Memastikan sambungan elektrik, bekalan air, dan sistem saliran dibuat dengan betul mengikut spesifikasi teknikal.

2.Penyelenggaraan Pencegahan (Preventive Maintenance - PM)

• Melaksanakan jadual servis berkala untuk memastikan mesin beroperasi pada tahap optimum dan mengelakkan kerosakan luar jangka.
• Menjalankan kerja-kerja pembersihan (descaling), sanitasi sistem air, dan pemeriksaan komponen kritikal (pemampat, motor, penderia)

3.Pembaikan & Penyelesaian Masalah (Corrective Maintenance & Troubleshooting)

• Mendiagnosis kerosakan mekanikal, elektrikal, dan sistem penyejukan (refrigeration) pada peralatan F&B.
• Menjalankan kerja-kerja pembaikan, penukaran alat ganti yang rosak, dan pengecasan gas bahan pendingin (gas charging).

4.Pelaporan & Dokumentasi

• Melengkapkan laporan servis (Service Report), borang pemasangan, dan jaminan dengan tepat selepas setiap tugasan.
• Melaporkan status kerosakan besar atau isu teknikal kepada Penyelia Teknikal.

5.Latihan Pelanggan

• Memberi latihan asas kepada staf pelanggan mengenai cara operasi betul dan penjagaan harian mesin.

• Minimum SPM / Sijil / Diploma dalam bidang Elektrik, Mekanikal, Penyejukan atau bidang berkaitan

Responsibility:

• Carry out repairs and troubleshooting of back-end engineering maintenance works and ensuring excellency and consistency in operational supports within the workplace according to the design intents of the various mechanical, electrical, medical and specialist systems

.Carry out electrical installation works for commercial, industrial, andbuilding projects, including:

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

TheTechnician is responsible for supporting the Engineering team in maintaining the hotel’s facilities, equipment and systems to ensure safe, efficient and uninterrupted operations. This role performs preventive and corrective maintenance across hotel systems including electrical, mechanical, plumbing,HVAC and general building maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

TheTechnician works closely with the Engineering leadership team to ensure all hotel equipment and guest facilities are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to a safe and seamless guest experience.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The main responsibilities of the Technician are summarised below; however, the list isnot exhaustive.

GENERAL DUTIES

• Carryout daily maintenance, repairs and inspections of hotel facilities, equipment and systems.

• Ensure the proper operation of electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, refrigeration and mechanical systems.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest room defects.

• Perform preventive maintenance according to the established engineering schedule.

• Monitor and inspect engineering equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

•Maintain accurate records of maintenance works, inspections and equipment performance.

• Assist with banquet, event and meeting set-up maintenance requirements where necessary.

• Support energy conservation initiatives and monitor utility usage where applicable.

• Follow hotel policies and procedures relating to engineering operations and workplace safety.

MAINTENANCE & OPERATIONS

•Troubleshoot equipment faults and carry out corrective actions promptly.

• Conduct regular testing of emergency and backup systems to ensure operational readiness.

•Coordinate with external contractors and vendors during servicing or repair works when required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform machine installation as per schedule.
• Maintaining the smooth operation of production and optimizing yield, utilization, and product quality through machine sustaining and maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Monitor equipment performance indicators and implement corrective actions to address deviations from performance targets.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while performing maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
• Update machine status from outgoing shift to incoming shift.

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Assistant Engineer to support our maintenance team in ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery and equipment. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong technical foundation and is eager to learn and grow within a maintenance engineering environment. The Assistant Engineer will assist with routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs while ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks.

Job:

• Assist senior engineers in routine maintenance tasks and repairs on equipment
• Perform in house repair of Electro optics equipment
• Aid in diagnosing and addressing minor issues promptly to reduce downtime
• Help carry out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to keep equipment in optimal condition
• Record maintenance activities accurately, including repairs, replacements, and inspections, under the guidance of senior engineers
• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and regulations; actively maintain a safe working environment
• Assist in managing spare parts inventory, notifying senior staff of low stock and needed reorders
• Work closely with the maintenance and production teams to complete tasks and support the overall maintenance strategy

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechatronic or Mechanical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex systems
• Able to adapt and work under tight schedule
• Able to communicate effectively with customers
• Strong analytical skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions
• Basic IT experience is preferred
• Possess class 3 driving license
• 24 X 7 standby and needs to be on site
• Singaporeans only
• Work location: Ang Mo Kio
• 1 year agency contract
• Only Singaporean
