DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS:

• Report to Manager all hotel property deficiencies and safety or security hazards
• Initiate action to improve a hazardous situation immediately
• Implement procedures for security and emergency incidents
• In the event of fire, be thoroughly familiar with and guided by the hotel’s emergency plan
• Be familiar with location of fire alarms and fire fighting equipment
• Conduct random checks of key registers in telephone room, banqueting, engineering, stewarding and housekeeping to ensure the hotel’s key control policy is adhered to and report on discrepancies

What you’ll do

This is your opportunity to be a big part of something big by helping drive an ambitious program of work to continually strengthen our global cybersecurity posture. Your day-to-day will be varied but some of what it will entail includes:

• Help refine our global cybersecurity policies, procedures and standards, and ensure our businesses have the information and tools they need to align to those policies.
• Help govern the rollout of a shared suite of security programs across the group.
• Develop, refine, release and measure technical controls (DLP, AUP etc.) across our security architecture to further encourage adherence to global policies.
• Assist in making our businesses audit-ready through monitoring maturity levels and evidence collection.
• Assist our businesses in response to security events and incidents.

• Permanent full-time role
• Basic $2870 to $3600 + Allowances + JOINING BONUS
• Training Provided

Job Description:

• Responding to incidents and managing security and safety systems.
• Preventing unauthorized entry into premises.
• Monitoring CCTV for suspicious activity.
• Conducting patrols and clocking duties.
• Performing access control duties.

Requirements:

• Able to commit 12 hours duty (Permanent day and/or night shift available)

Job Summary

Join Certis as an Auxiliary Police Officer to gain real-world skills through structured training and progression. You will perform security duties, protect key areas, handle incidents, and ensure public and premises safety in a stable, routine-focused role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security checks and screenings to detect and prevent unauthorized access
• Patrol designated areas to monitor and protect key facilities and assets.
• Respond promptly to incidents, enforce regulations, and maintain order
• Ensure the safety of the public and premises through vigilant observation and intervention
• Work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to maintain continuous security coverage

Required competencies and certifications

• Achieve a minimum of 3 N Level passes or 5 Level 5 passes in WPLN
• Be a Singaporean citizen
• Pass the Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT) to meet physical fitness standards
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Hold a valid vehicle license (advantageous for Outrider/Driver roles)
