• Design, implement, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN infrastructure.

• Install, configure, and support network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity; proactively identify and resolve issues.

• Perform network troubleshooting at L2/L3 levels and root cause analysis.

• Implement and manage network security controls, firewall rules, IDS/IPS, and VPN access.

• Support network upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices.

• Work closely with system, security, and application teams on infrastructure integration.

• Manage network documentation, diagrams, IP addressing, and configuration backups.

• Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and service providers for issue resolution and projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with routing and switching (TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP).

• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, or similar network devices.

• Experience managing firewalls, VPNs, and network security solutions.

• Knowledge of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

• Experience with wireless networks (Wi-Fi) and access point management.

• Understanding of high availability, redundancy, and failover designs.

• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Certifications such as CCNA / CCNP / NSE / JNCIS.

• Experience with network automation or scripting.

• Exposure to SD-WAN technologies.

• Knowledge of ITIL-based operations and change management.

• Experience supporting 24x7 or critical production environments.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
