Key Responsibilities

1. CEPAS & LTA-Compliant Software Development

• Develop and maintain reader device software compliant with CEPAS specifications and LTA AFC Interface Requirements.

• Support key management, secure messaging, and cryptographic functions (e.g., SAM-based authentication).
• Ensure compliance with LTA security guidelines, including audit trails and anti-fraud controls.

4. System Integration

• Integrate reader devices with backend AFC systems including:
• Card management systems
• Clearing & settlement systems
• Real-time monitoring platforms
• Support APIs and communication protocols defined by LTA (e.g., TCP/IP, message formats, device protocols).

5. Testing, Certification &Compliance

• Conduct functional, integration, and performance testing aligned with LTA certification processes.

6. Deployment & Operations Support

Academic / Professional Experience Requirements

Academic Education

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Technical Experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new applications and enhance existing systems using .NET, C#, and Angular.
• Translate business requirements into functional, high-quality solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable systems.
• Collaborate with a dynamic development team and follow best coding practices.
• Provide on-site support and travel regionally (eg Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Sri Lanka) when required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field
• Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
• 2–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in frontend technologies (Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap with responsive design) and backend development (.NET, C#, basic Web API, SQL, SSRS).
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Familiarity with Git is a plus.
