You will be the single point ofownership for returned hardware, and the bridge between field failures anddesign improvements. You need to be equally comfortable with a soldering ironand with Altium (or equivalent), and you must be able to communicate technicalfindings clearly – both internally to engineering and externally to our CM.

What You Will Do

RMA Diagnostics & Root Cause Analysis

• Receive, log, and triage returned devices fromcustomers globally
• Execute structured diagnostic routines to identify rootcause – distinguishing hardware faults, firmware issues, handling damage, andenvironmental failures
• Document all findings: failure mode, test results,probable root cause, and recommended disposition
• Identify recurring failure patterns across RMA batchesand escalate systemic issues

Hands-On Rework & Repair

• Perform component-level rework to a high standard: SMDsoldering, module replacement, connector repair
• Re-flash firmware on repaired units and validateagainst test criteria before return or redeployment
• Maintain a clean, traceable repair log for each unitprocessed
• Operate and improve existing test jigs for BEAM Nodesand sensor products

Design Improvement & Engineering Change

• Translate RMA findings into actionable improvementplans with clear problem statements, proposed fixes, and expected impact
• Update schematics to reflect approved design changes
• Update Bills of Materials (BOMs) to reflect componentchanges, alternates, or obsolescence replacements
• Work with the engineering team to review and validateproposed changes before release to production

Contract Manufacturer (CM) Interface

• Prepare and deliver structured reports to the CM ondesign changes, BOM updates, and quality findings
• Review CM build reports, first-article inspectionresults, and production yield data
• Coordinate with CM on engineering change orders (ECOs)and ensure changes are implemented correctly
• Support new product introduction (NPI) activities atthe CM as needed

Quality & Process

• Support pre-shipment QC checks and maintain the QCchecklist for new product releases
• Recommend and implement improvements to testprocedures, rework SOPs, and QC gates
• Maintain jig calibration records and flag anomalies

What We Are Looking For

Must Have

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (orclosely related discipline)
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in electronicsdiagnostics, repair, or test – ideally in a production, RMA, or NPI environment
• Strong SMD rework skills – fine-pitch components; BGArework experience is a plus
• Proficient with bench equipment: oscilloscope,multimeter, logic analyser, soldering station
• Ability to read, interpret, and update schematics andPCB layouts independently
• Experience with EDA tools (Altium Designerpreferred; KiCad, OrCAD, or Eagle acceptable) – specifically for schematicedits, BOM management, and design review
• Systematic fault-finding approach – you work through adiagnostic process, not just replace parts until something works
• Clear, structured documentation and reporting habits –your reports should be ready to send to a CM without editing
• Self-directed and proactive – you do not wait to betold what to fix next

Good to Have

• Prior experience interfacing with a contractmanufacturer (ECOs, build reports, yield analysis)
• Exposure to IoT or wireless hardware (LoRa, BLE, GPSmodules, embedded MCUs)
• Experience with UART, JTAG, or SWD debug interfaces
• Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles
• Experience in a startup or small-team environment whereyou wore multiple hats
• Experience writing or refining test procedures and workinstructions

1. ETL Development

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks.
• Write complex, high-performance T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to transform raw data into actionable insights. Optimize data loads for performance and scalability within Azure SQL Database and Synapse Analytics.

2. Quality Assurance & Testing

• Develop and execute comprehensive Data Validation scripts to check for data completeness, transformation logic, and referential integrity. Conduct Source-to-Target mapping validation and performance testing on large datasets. Identify, document, and track data anomalies and bugs, working closely with the engineering team to resolve bottlenecks.

3. Infrastructure & Collaboration

• Work within an Agile environment, collaborating with Data Architects and Business Analysts to understand requirements. Manage version control and CI/CD deployments using Azure DevOps. Monitor pipeline health and set up automated alerts for failure or data drift.

Technical Requirements

SQL Mastery: Deep expertise in SQL (T-SQL/PL-SQL) for data manipulation, optimization, and complex joins.

Azure Data Stack: Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Azure SQL Database. (Knowledge of Databricks/PySpark is a major plus).

Testing Tooling: Experience with data testing tools (e.g., dbt, Great Expectations) or custom Python/SQL testing scripts.

Cloud Infrastructure: Understanding of Azure environment security, Managed Identities, and Key Vaults.

Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 3–5 years of relevant experience.
