Job Description

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated AI Research & Development Intern to join our AI Product group that delivers innovative Computer Vision solutions to global customers.

You will conform to high standards and work in a cutting-edge, dynamic, and professionally challenging environment.

As part of your role you will:

• Implement practical solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), foundational Computer Vision (CV) models, and agentic AI to address real-world challenges.
• Conduct rigorous experiments to validate model performance, including data preparation, evaluation, and benchmarking, ensuring reliability and accuracy.
• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept systems to test innovative ideas and demonstrate their feasibility and value.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Familiar with machine learning and deep learning concepts, with hands-on project experience or strong interest in real-world applications.
• Proficient in at least one programming language, and familiar with database systems, Linux environments, Docker, and Git version control tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, logical reasoning, communication, and teamwork skills.

Duration:

• Available for at least a 6-month internship.
• Able to work at least 4 days a week (Preferably full-time / 5 days a week).
• We are flexible with start and end dates and allow flexibility to accommodate exams, leave etc.

What we need to see:

Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Strong background of theory and practice of LLM and foundation model, as well as deep learning.

Excellent knowledge of theory and practice of model compression and acceleration techniques.

Excellent programming skills in some rapid prototyping environment such as Python; C++and parallel programming (e.g., CUDA) is a plus.

Knowledge of common machine learning frameworks, such as PyTorch.
